"The owner is very nice. He will contact you the day before your arrival and send instruction on how to get there. He welcome us with Pu'er tea and ensure we stay comfortably. It's very hard to find toilet with bidet in China. But here the toilet has bidet 😀. Although you need to walk to the Inn, you don't have to carry your luggage. He will arrange and handle your luggage during check in and check out. If you have problem and do not feel shy to ask him. He will help. From food online ordering because I have issue with ******* apps. He also has washing machine and you can use do your laundry. His warmth make us enjoy more our stay in Lijiang."

From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Because a room upgrade was available, he kindly offered us a better room, which was a wonderful surprise. He also helped us purchase the tea we were looking for, something we truly appreciated. When we arrived at the entrance of the ancient town, Mr. Afei came to pick us up and helped us get to the hotel with our luggage. Upon arrival, he welcomed us with tea and fresh fruit, almost like a welcome drink, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. He even sent us a message on WeChat with the most important places to visit in Lijiang, making sure we wouldn't miss the city's key highlights. Throughout our trip in China, we had never felt as warmly welcomed anywhere as we did here. Lijiang itself felt like a city that embraced us with warmth, and a great part of that feeling came from the exceptional care and hospitality provided by Mr. Afei. "Our stay at this hotel was truly delightful. From the moment we arrived, the manager, Xiao Liew, made us feel right at home with his warm hospitality. He welcomed us with tea and shared his expertise on Yunnan tea, guiding us through the different varieties and helping us find ones we truly enjoyed. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. The property itself was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Its location is also a major plus—just a short stroll from Lijiang Ancient Town, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Xiao Liew’s recommendations for nearby dining were spot on. Each restaurant he suggested offered delicious meals that our family of three thoroughly enjoyed We are grateful to Xiao Liew and his team for making our stay so memorable. "The entire area was spotlessly clean. The small decorations and greenery in the public areas were thoughtfully arranged, and there were no unpleasant odors in the air. I felt completely relaxed from morning till night; there was absolutely no sense of crowding or noise that made me uncomfortable. As soon as I arrived at the entrance, someone helped me with my luggage. They proactively sent me travel/dining guides in advance, and any request I had was met with an instant response. The staff were enthusiastic yet discreet, never over-disturbing, making for a truly comfortable experience. The view was completely unobstructed, whether I was leaning by the window watching the sunset or standing on the terrace overlooking the entire landscape. Every photo I took was postcard-perfect without any editing needed. I could sit in the viewing area for an entire afternoon and not get tired of it. Whether it was the bedding and bathroom facilities in the room, or the recreational equipment and convenient amenities in the public areas, everything was maintained in pristine condition, feeling new and clean. They were easy to use and gave me peace of mind, showing excellent attention to detail."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Lijiang Ancient Town, and you can park directly at the entrance. The hotel lobby has a very unique design, and the rooms are elegant and tidy, offering views of the entire ancient town. It's especially beautiful at night when the town lights up! Breakfast is served on the top floor with a wide variety of dishes, and you can enjoy the beautiful views of the ancient town while you eat. Overall, an excellent rating! 👍"

"This guesthouse has a Naxi ethnic style. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping cleaned it daily. The owner and staff were very welcoming, helped with luggage, and were always ready to assist whenever needed. The guesthouse is centrally located in the ancient city, just a short walk to Sifang Street, making it convenient for getting around. It's quiet despite being in a lively area. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next year when I visit Lijiang."

"My flight was re-routed to Lijiang, so I booked a stay at the Guotai Mansion B&B Hotel in the ancient town right before boarding. Its location is excellent, close to the Grand Water Wheel attraction. The hotel is a two-story, courtyard-style building, full of ancient charm, clean, and beautifully decorated. In the lounge, there's a large tea table where friendly staff are always ready to brew a pot of fragrant tea and offer some snacks – it felt so warm and cozy. For breakfast, they make a fresh bowl of special rice noodles, which were delicious. Overall, the service was truly attentive; they even picked me up and dropped me off at the drop-off point and helped with my luggage. The proprietress is a kind and beautiful young lady. She enthusiastically recommended various places to eat and explore, shared lychees sent by her friends, and even gave us a voucher for a golden ear sashimi roll at a mushroom hotpot restaurant. I was truly touched. It's a shame my trip was so short; I'll definitely stay longer next time! Highly recommend experiencing it!"

"This inn is located below Lijiang's Old Town Grand Waterwheel, right in the middle of Sifang Street. It's also conveniently close to the bar street. The inn is a wooden structure with a very authentic Naxi style. It's clean and hygienic, with air conditioning, 24-hour hot water, and independent Wi-Fi. The owner, originally from Northeast China, is incredibly welcoming and helpful, even teaching us some travel tips and helping us grab ropeway tickets for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The inn's entrance is a popular photo spot, and many guests take amazing pictures there. I highly recommend staying here!"

"The hotel is clean and comfortable with a pleasant environment and all the amenities you could need, making for a very relaxing stay. The location is excellent, very close to the old town. You can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from your room window, which is an amazing experience. Highly recommend!"

"I did like the place! For me it was a perfect location! And the view from the room was unbeatable. You don't need to look for a restaurant with a view, it is right in you room. But the hotel is up the hill so you'll need to walk up the stairs. Guys helped with the luggage, and I'm so grateful 🙏 but Lijiang Old Town is love at first sight ❤️"
