Hotels near Qilaibi Lighthouse, Hualien

The location is super close to Qixingtan Beach, and the Bonito Museum is right outside. You can walk to Qixingtan Beach, and electric scooter rentals aren't far either. However, there are many accommodations nearby, so if you want a sea view from your room, you might need to inquire about availability (my loft room didn't have one). There's no fridge in the room, but there's a shared one on the same floor. The breakfast was prepared with care, though taste is subjective. It's very pet-friendly. The loft room type is convenient for families traveling together, especially with teenagers, as there's plenty of space.

Received email from hotel staff (Juan) that they could arrange pick-up service for us if we are arriving via Hualien Train Station. They provide free transfer back to Hualien train station as well after check-out. Grateful for the shuttle service otherwise I would need to take a taxi. By going the extra mile, they offered to send my mom and myself to the bus stop nearby for going to xincheng old street. Every staff member is friendly and very helpful. Seaview room is excellent and we enjoyed the sound of the waves from our bed! Room is clean and brightly illuminated. Breakfast variety is good. They have bicycle for hotel guests too! There’s a convenience store (Family Mart) nearby, few restaurants too, but closed on Tuesday mostly. Overall I had a great stay and will definitely return if I come to Hualien again.

Had a very underwhelming experience for the money that we paid for this hotel. Decor was very outdated (i.e. 2000s), which was understandable as this is an old hotel. Service staff was quite rude when we asked for directions and recommendations for food and things to see around the area. Do note that the carpark is very small and there are no parking lots surrounding the area. When we checked in, the carpark attendant told us that their carpark lot was at full capacity.

Next time I come, I will stay here again. It’s so comfortable and convenient for traveling. I feel so good just lying in the room all day. I don’t want to go anywhere. It’s my first choice for vacation. Unfortunately, the weather was not very good and I didn’t see the sunrise. , hope to see it next time

The hotel's location is excellent, about a 10-12 minute walk from the train station's rear exit. The front desk staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, but note that their service is not 24/7. On the ground floor, there's a complimentary refreshment area with tea bags and coffee available for guests. The rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, but they only provide large bath towels; if you need smaller towels, you'll have to bring your own. Additionally, there's a laundry room on the top floor if you need to do laundry. It's often difficult to book a taxi using common ride-hailing apps in Hualien, so if you need a taxi, you can ask the front desk, and the car service they work with is excellent!

If you are looking for an ocean front get away, away from the city and the crowds this is your place. In winter, due to strong winds, the waves offer a magnificent show, beating the shores nonstop. Right in front of the hotel is the bikeway and the nearest bike rental is approximately 50 meters away. There is also a Family Mart within the same distance towards the temple. The hotel provides a set breakfast which changes everyday, but it’s well presented and tastes great! Although the reception was helpful to arrange a taxi for us everyday, we hoped there would be a round way shuttle to downtown, even if it’s once a day! It would absolutely enhance to guests experience, especially considering the location slightly outside the city center.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful. When she overheard me mentioning I didn't bring an umbrella as I was about to head out with my two kids, she immediately offered a foldable umbrella for us to use. She was so thoughtful and attentive, and always answered all our questions kindly and patiently. The housekeeping staff was also very polite when changing our towels. Three days and two nights just wasn't enough, and we even got a discount for extending our stay by an extra night. I'm so glad my first trip to Hualien with my kids was at such a wonderful hotel. Highly recommend!

This is a temporary intention to go to Hualien Ocean Park to play, and encountered Qingming even holiday, just found this homestay has a vacant room and is not expensive, so I did not hesitate to book, and it is very close to Hualien Station, convenient to take the train to arrive can rent a car, check out and return the locomotive, will not be troublesome, Because it's close to the station. The room has a large space, there is a balcony and a refrigerator available, the toilet in the toilet has a new free toilet, and it is quite quiet to sleep at night. Overall, it is a great value. I will still choose to live next time I come to Hualien.

Had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and they offered breakfast and complimentary refreshments. The service was excellent, and the rooftop provides great views of the sea and sunrise. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Hualien!

One of the better (if not the best) hotel chains I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’ve visited Taiwan about 10 times and stayed here for 2 nights, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience. They provide free bicycles (3 hours limit), which is useful for getting around Hualien. Breakfast has a good spread, and there are complimentary ice cream and drinks available in the lobby around the clock. We didn’t realise they also offer late-night supper from 7pm to 9pm, which was honestly as good as a proper dinner buffet, with a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes and even live entertainment. The room was spacious and well maintained, with no hygiene concerns. Shower water pressure was good. Noise levels were generally fine, though louder sounds like furniture movement could occasionally be heard. The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store, restaurants, KTV, and a cinema, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. You can also cycle to the night market within 15 minutes, making it super easy to get around the main area without getting a taxi. Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money. While a gym would be nice, I would definitely consider staying at other branches on future trips.
