The room was incredibly spacious with a 2-meter bed, which is bigger than the 1.8-meter beds you find in most other hotels. The ambiance was cozy, and the lighting fixtures were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast offered a great variety. I'll definitely stay here again.

The overall experience far exceeded my expectations; it's a resort I'd secretly add to my list for a third visit. **Service Hidden in the Details:** Crystal Si Shun made sure everything was perfectly arranged. Any questions I had throughout my stay were addressed promptly, with a reassuringly quick response time. The hotel offers turndown service every evening, with different essential oils and incense daily, catering even to my sense of smell. I also received a turtle-shaped aromatherapy sachet as a gift. **Living in a City Forest Park:** The room felt incredibly spacious, and the balcony was equally generous, featuring a large soaking tub ready for use at any time. With the lights off, I could hear birds returning to the woods outside and bullfrogs croaking in the lake – natural white noise you don't find in the city. **The Most Touching Detail:** The hotel discreetly runs a stray cat adoption program, and you can see well-cared-for cats around the grounds. This initiative truly showed the hotel's respect for life, a sincerity reflected in every detail of their guest service. **Good Value for Money Travel Photography:** My stay included a complimentary 1-hour travel photoshoot with 5 free digital negatives. **Practical Tip ⚠️:** Because the hotel's ecosystem is so rich, there are more mosquitoes and insects in the summer. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent, especially when walking around the grounds in the evening. I woke up the next morning to light filtering through the blinds, landing on my pillow. The curtain wasn't fully closed, leaving a gap where the light streamed in, slowly moving across the wall. I didn't check my phone, just turned over and lay there for a while longer. No need to rush to the next itinerary item, no messages to reply to, no pressure to hurry to the next lively event. Many people's summer breaks have already drawn to a swift close, but my holiday, with no end date, isn't over yet. Slowly recuperating, slowly finding myself again. Overall, this is a very thoughtful resort hotel, where all the good things are hidden in subtle details. It's perfect for friends who want to temporarily escape the city's hustle and bustle and quietly unwind.

[Perfect Stay Experience] The room was more spacious and brighter than I expected, with fantastic views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. Attention to detail was evident everywhere: the mini-bar had a great selection of drinks, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and was equipped with a smart toilet. The complimentary tea bags were of excellent quality, and it was lovely to sit by the window in the afternoon enjoying a cuppa. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk service was warm and efficient, and they proactively upgraded my room type. Upon checking out, they even gave me a lovely little gift. Absolutely great value for money, this has become my go-to choice in this city. Highly recommended!

I previously stayed at the Kande Hotel in Huizhou and had a fantastic experience, so I decided to book with Kande again. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time. On the positive side, the hotel's location and service were excellent, and the room was quite spacious, which is a common advantage of older five-star hotels. However, the room facilities were outdated (especially the telephone and the plant box next to it, which were both dirty and old). The hotel lobby looks grand and impressive, but it lacks a human touch in its layout (the sofa areas are all set up for the paid bar). There's no waiting area for guests checking in, which is a significant drawback compared to the Huizhou branch. Overall, the value for money is low, and I wouldn't recommend it for personal travel.

The location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also close to shopping malls like Guomao and Vanke, so it's great for shopping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action. Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered. Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it. Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby. Overall: This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere. Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast. Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

The front desk service was excellent; they were very attentive and even made coffee for me. I've stayed here several times now. The rooms are clean and tidy, and I really like the decor. It's thoughtful that the front desk has a dedicated area for female guests, which is super convenient for travelers. The hotel also has a gym, a swimming pool, and a laundry room. Plus, every room comes with a charger, making it especially great for business travelers. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up!

The hotel’s breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection of authentic local dishes as well as freshly brewed coffee for guests who enjoy starting their day with a cup of coffee. The hotel's strategic location is another major highlight. Numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and hawker stalls are situated within walking distance, offering plenty of dining options. There is also a local market just behind the hotel, where guests can enjoy authentic local food and browse a variety of shops. In addition, a large shopping mall is located approximately 1.5 km away, making it easily accessible on foot and providing a convenient place to find everything you need. Transportation is very convenient, with taxis and ride-hailing services such as DiDi readily available from the hotel to various destinations. However, one drawback is that the hotel shares the building with commercial lots, and the soundproofing could be improved. Noise from people talking in the corridors and surrounding areas could be clearly heard, even as early as 5:00 a.m., which occasionally disturbed the stay. Despite the minor issue with noise, my overall experience was very positive and well worth the price paid. The hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I would also gladly choose to stay here again on my next trip to China.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, situated between Dongguan Station and Humen Station, both high-speed rail stops, and also in the middle of Metro Line 2, with both being about a 30-minute ride away. Just one metro stop from the hotel is Minying International Trade City, a large mall with everything you could need. The hotel facilities and rooms definitely show their age. The two swimming pools are quite good, both 1.55 meters deep, large enough to swim comfortably, and each has a jacuzzi. There's also a kids' pool with a slide, 0.5 meters deep. The breakfast selection is decent. The room is very spacious, and the bathroom isn't small either, plus there's a large balcony. The natural light in the room is good. It's almost time for a hardware renovation, and then it would be perfect. The staff granted us a late check-out, making for a perfect weekend family getaway. Marriott Resort quality truly shines through.

Nice location with restaurants nearby, cross border bus service to HK/HK airport. However I had a terrible experience at the swimming pool. Apparently it has been outsourced to a private entity so the service was really bad. The pool attendant (a younger male staff) was neither friendly nor helpful, so I could not enjoy my lap swim. That's why the star rating for service drops to 2. This is my third time staying in this hotel and I met him every time at the poolside. He gave me the feeling that hotel guests are second class user next to his own local members. Other than that, the stay was as good as before
