The hotel is conveniently located very close to the train station and offers excellent value for money. We even received complimentary welcome fruit. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; they proactively asked if we needed station pick-up service, along with attending to other thoughtful details. During check-in, they also kindly reminded us that the weather gets quite cold in the mornings and evenings and advised us to dress warmly, which was incredibly considerate. The room was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast selection was varied and perfectly to my liking, and enjoying breakfast on the 11th floor with a mountain view was a fantastic experience! Highly recommended!!!

The hotel reception upgraded our room for free, and the staff at the front desk were really enthusiastic. The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. It's also not far from city attractions like Mojia Street, the Provincial Museum, and the Wildlife Park.

We booked a hourly room and checked in after 7 PM. They told us checkout was at 10:30 PM, but then called us at 9 PM to check out because we had originally selected the 6-9 PM slot when booking. So remember to choose your time carefully! This hourly room was much better than the twin room we stayed in the night before, which was near a school and super noisy with morning exercises. I really loved that the toilet, shower, and sink were all separate in this hourly room. The hotel is also very close to various mosques, just past Nanguan. Don't forget to try the yak yogurt, it's delicious!

Clean n newly renovated hotel. Check-in was fast n checkout at 2pm. Use translator to communicate. Free additional drinking water available at the reception. The manager and staff were very friendly. House keeping staff were very polite and even update us on the weather conditions outside. Even though we didn't know Chinese, sign language was good enough. Daily cleaning with a change of soft fluffy white towel. Complete daily supply of toilet accessories. Change of linens. Shower with good water pressure. WC with auto flushing. We got a room near the free laundry facility with detergent and softener. Walking distance to the market and Dongguan Mosque.

My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, very convenient and easily accessible to nearby attractions, shopping areas, and food options, which made the whole trip much more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and I could tell that the housekeeping standards are consistently good. The staff were also friendly and helpful whenever assistance was needed, which added to the overall positive experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient as well. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for both short and long trips, and I would definitely return again in the future

I love this hotel network atmosphere and attitude to details many things are automatic and modern. in Xining reception staff was very friendly and kind they helped to change my room type to 1 bed type as i was alone but originally internet offered only twin room. the only problem was TV i couldnt change any channels and functions and i couldnt switch it off easy coz TV remote control no working. same with air con system ( maybe it is automatic?) i couldn't turn it on. other things are very very good level

The room was much larger than I expected, with a great layout. I could spread out my luggage without any issues and still had plenty of space to move around. It felt as comfortable as a suite. The hotel is incredibly close to Xining High-Speed Railway Station and the bus station, easily within walking distance. This is a perfect choice for anyone needing to catch an early train or those arriving late and wanting to rest quickly, saving both time and effort. The overall environment is quiet, the hygiene is excellent, and the service is very good. Highly recommended!

I had a truly great stay here, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot - very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque and Xia Nanguan Street, which is perfect for food shopping and enjoying nighttime street food. The design of the hotel has a nice vintage charm to it—nothing overly flashy, but it's very clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints at all. They also offer private parking, which is really convenient if you're renting a car. What really made my stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with bad altitude sickness, and without me even saying a word, the front desk team noticed how I was feeling and kindly sent medicine, yogurt, and an oxygen canister to my room. That kind of care means so much. Later that night, my room was a bit too warm, and even though it was late, the night staff happily helped me switch rooms. I’m so grateful. A special thank you to Ms. Ma Ping for all her help and kindness. The room quality and attention to detail were top-notch! The Serta mattress provided excellent support and contouring, making me feel instantly refreshed and ensuring a superb night's sleep. The ergonomic chair was incredibly comfortable and supportive for my back, so I felt no strain even after sitting for long periods. Paired with the rich and aromatic Italian drip coffee, it created a wonderfully atmospheric and luxurious stay. The front desk service was also excellent.
