We had an absolutely wonderful and satisfying stay at Palmer Hotel! One of the first things we noticed was the beautiful, refreshing scent in the lobby and all through the hallways—it made coming back to our room feel so relaxing. The breakfast buffet was superb with a fantastic variety of food. Plus, the location is unbeatable; it's highly accessible to transportation and very close to all the top tourist spots. Extremely disappointed 😞. The family room I saw in the pictures wasn't the one I stayed in, and there were no photos of my actual room type available on Trip.com. The room I got didn't match the price I paid. I booked specifically for the room design, so I was really upset when I arrived. When I asked at the front desk, they told me, 'Because you didn't request it? So it's just a standard room?' I had no idea there were other room types. I came during a public holiday (and my price was more than double the usual rate), but I didn't get the room I wanted. I really can't accept this! The most unreasonable thing, in my opinion, was the security deposit. I'm okay with paying a deposit, but why wasn't it refunded immediately? Who traveling for a vacation in Taiwan wants to wait over two weeks for a refund? I've already waited fourteen days, and they're saying it's Trip.com's problem and not theirs??? The staff just shifted all the blame and didn't help resolve the issue at all! It's already 2/28 to 3/14 and I still haven't received my money? What happened to the promised 7 to 14 days? And I can't find anyone who can help resolve this problem! I hope the hotel can help deal with this instead of just saying it's not their problem. The hotel partners with Trip.com; they help you get guests, so why are you so indifferent to your customers' issues??? Who would dare to book with you again after this??? (RM591.92) Is the deposit for one night the same as the holiday room price??? Maybe you didn't collect it directly, but since you let Trip.com collect it, you should be responsible for helping to inquire and assist customers in getting their money back. Just because it's not 'your' money, you don't care? Is this a customer service issue? Five hundred TWD 4,600?? Is that a service fee? Is this a joke? No problem resolution? The breakfast was indeed good! I'll give them that. But who knows how much Oden 🍢 there was? They advertised it as a late-night snack, but it was all gone by 9 PM? When I asked, they just said, 'It's gone, it's gone?' In that case, why even offer it?

When check in, the staff was busy, It was confused me to rush for check in, apperantly the room was on the other building, so I need to go out and enter the other building. Not sure about the security, looks like no security on the other building. For breakfast I have to go out to the front office building on the 2nd floor. They give coupon for breakfast from 7-10. The breakfast was okay, and same type of menu. The room quite big, the bathroom okay, with full amenities. It seems the the room wasn't clean properly, there some small plastic rubbish on the corner when I check in, I wouldn't bother. Light in front of bathroom wasn't good enougj, since the mirror there you need when you getting ready to go out. They provide water bottle and tea bag. Free store luggage service upon check in and check out. Location is near the train station, walkable to Miyahara and around train station was really nice at night.

It feels like a motel with a sense of age, but it is not as old as expected after entering. I believe it has been renovated recently. It is the first time I live in a separate car room with this small number of pings. I feel very comfortable! I like it very much. The massage chair and jacuzzi are quite amazing. It's really great! The price is very favorable, the price ratio and emotional value are very high, I look forward to staying again 😀

The room was clean and tidy, and quite quiet. The front desk staff patiently guided me through the check-in process, which was a great experience. It's super close to Taichung Railway Station, and the 7-Eleven downstairs is very convenient.

This hotel is directly across from Taichung TRA Station, making it super convenient to catch a train in just a few minutes. Miyahara Eye Hospital (famous for its ice cream and souvenirs) is also just a short walk away. You can easily catch a bus right outside to Rainbow Village. It's incredibly convenient. The hotel facilities are great too. The front desk service was reassuring, and they offer complimentary lemon juice and snacks in the lobby. The king-size bed in the room definitely felt wider than 1.5 meters, probably closer to 2 meters wide. Both the bathroom and toilet were clean. Breakfast is served on the second floor and it's absolutely fantastic!

Location is good. Walking distance to major transport and adjacent to factory outlet mall. Room is good size for couple and can add bed or family room. There is curated one day tour trip provided by the hotel and very competitive to outside tour. Tour guide selected and provided by hotel is professional, responsible and accommodating to needs. Hotel Breakfast is quite normal or standard which can be more exciting or international as IHG leh. If one of the day trip is to Lukang, there is bus literally outside the hotel. Walking distance and there is also option of walking to nearby bus stop to take bus to YiZhong street. Also got bus to Fengjia night market, very convenient.

Hotel was modern and clean, but beds were slightly hard. Triple room was supposed to be a queen bed and a single bed, but the ”queen bed” was actually 2 single beds combined together with a single bedsheet draped over both of them. The room was overall clean and practical, parking was offered for 400NTD/day, though costly conveniently located right downstairs.

After the temporary reservation that night, the hotel staff arrived at the friendly guidance, there is an underground parking lot for parking, the facilities in the room are clean and quiet, and the CP value is high. Service: Friendly and helpful, with good English communication. Amenities: Free laundry (with sometimes weak dryers), free Wi-Fi, and water dispensers on each floor. Breakfast: Generally well-regarded, though some guests note many options are nearby.
