The experience at Guangyuezhen exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect, and transportation is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff are warm and efficient. The room design is simple and comfortable, with impeccable hygiene. The front desk also provided afternoon tea, value-added items like disposable toilet seats and makeup remover wipes, and a small snack upon check-out. It was such a heartwarming experience. I'll definitely stay here next time!

I upgraded to a brand new standard room for 20 yuan, which was great. I booked three rooms, and one of them had a broken lock. The repairman worked until 1 a.m., which was a real relief. The hotel offered absolutely no explanation or compensation, acting like nothing happened. Seriously, this seriously disturbed my rest! I didn't break the lock! And it was 1 a.m.! Seriously! The hotel's service attitude is just wishful thinking—”I won't do anything unless the customer does”—not even a single apology.

The room was much larger than I expected, and the facilities were excellent overall. Even with two 1.3-meter beds, the twin room still had plenty of space to move around. The bathroom had great wet and dry separation, and the glass shower door sealed perfectly, so no water splashed out. It was very clean; even the toilet rim was spotless. There’s a large supermarket right opposite the hotel, which was super convenient for buying snacks. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

I am travelling with my 78 years old father, stayed here for two times. The first time is arrival to naming airport before I travel to visit my family member's in BeiLiu.
We stayed at 9 floor the first time, the toilet has odour of cigarettes for the whole night, even though it shows as a non-smoking room.
The second times when we came back, the receptionist checked with me either to get the same room, I feedback to him the toilet has odour of cigarette, he gave me another room at 8 floor.
The toilet has no cigarettes odour.
But the towel has some weird smells or odour of cigarettes when we used it, that time already near 11pm, we choose not to call the receptionist for towel changing.
The receptionists are both very nice.
There are varieties of stalls next to the hotel and many other stalls are avaliable, the location is quite good.

A nice hotel to stay in a safe neighbourhood. Front staff were also friendly and helpful. Location wise, it was slightly far from the main shopping area and we had to DiDi everywhere (though a short distance). Might not be the best choice for international travellers who would like to be in the hustle and bustle of the city. For local travellers, it might be a great choice nevertheless.

1. Located in downtown Nanning, it's easy to get anywhere by bus or on foot.
2. Right next to the subway station, it's right outside the exit, very convenient.
3. There's a market, small restaurants, and a supermarket downstairs, making daily life convenient.
4. The hotel's hot water isn't very hot.
5. To watch TV, you have to turn on the physical switch on the TV itself; the remote control alone won't work.
6. The so-called ”gym” is just some exercise equipment in the room, and the room is spacious enough to use it.
7. Breakfast is simple: congee, fried noodles, bread, milk, boiled eggs, small steamed buns, small dumplings, a seasonal vegetable, a pickled vegetable, and a fruit (cherry tomatoes). The overall taste is very bland; there's no meat or sausage.
8. The hotel is supposedly promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, encouraging guests not to use the toiletries and disposable items provided, but they only offer 50 Jinjiang points, which seems insincere.

Very satisfied! The room I originally booked was on the same floor as the laundry room. I wanted to pay the difference to change the room type, but the front desk helped me upgrade to an executive room for free. Although it was the last room, it was just what I wanted, because it was relatively quiet. The room faces southeast, and the lush scenery of Nanhu Park is pleasing to the eye. The breakfast is also very rich, with many Guangxi specialties. The front desk staff has an excellent attitude and handles problems very professionally, which is a benchmark in the industry!

The hotel is in a good location, very close to Nanning Station and Nanning East Station. There are two or three night market snack streets around, each with its own characteristics. It is also close to Qingxiu Mountain, which is convenient for travel.
The room is just right, with good sound insulation, but the hygiene needs to be improved.
The service attitude of the front desk staff is very good, and they will greet you when you enter and leave, which is very heartwarming.

I have always loved this hotel for their dinners me and my wife enjoyed when we visited Nanning over the years. This time I had the time to stay in this hotel for first time. A fantastic 8 night stay. A lovely hotel. I will definitely return and I highly recommend you choose this hotel. The facilities, staff, food, everything is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The staffs attention to detail is high quality. Room was excellent. Breakfast 10 stars out of 10. Superb Chinese and Western delicious foods. Coffee freshly ground beans and your choice of hot milk, soy milk etc etc. Health bread is available. The chefs poached my eggs every morning. Thank you. Swimming pool amazing. Fitness room nicely set up and well equipped. I like the location and ease of access. The airport bus starts and ends in the hotel entrance car park. Amazing!

Check-in was incredibly fast, thanks to Jennie at the front desk. We even received a complimentary room upgrade! This Exhibition Smart Select Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Langxi Night Market, which offers a fantastic selection of local delicacies. Getting around is also super convenient. The room's decor was simple yet calming, ensuring a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back!

Right after I checked in, I began cleaning the room and I noticed there's clearly someone's hair, longer than mine, everywhere. There are streaks and unwashed stains on the floor. It's clear the owner tries to add a lot of furniture and interior design, but I personally don't understand the purpose of these very small tables, how to sit at them, work at them, or eat at them. I think they're completely unnecessary, they're completely useless, but there are so many of them in China! that I don't understand why they're needed. There are also some small chairs that are either toys or for children. The windows clearly lack soundproofing, which isn't a good idea if they face a main road. But then again, windows like this are everywhere in China. Either they don't care, or they don't know how to repair or adjust them, as if you were living on the street. 😂☝️

LlynecottonLet's get straight to the point. Regarding this hotel, from a family travel perspective, I do not recommend it. Families with children should probably avoid it.
Reason one: Children aged 6 and above are charged half price for breakfast. While 50 yuan isn't expensive, my child only ate two sausages and two donuts.
Reason two: There's very little for kids to do. There's only one swimming pool, barely two proper lanes wide. The small ball pit next to the breakfast area is only open during the dinner buffet. There's nothing else to entertain children.
Reason three: There are very few family-friendly attractions within walking distance. We didn't go to Qingxiu Mountain, which might be suitable for older kids.
If you're traveling for business, this hotel is fine. I'd like to commend the proactive and helpful concierge at the entrance who opened doors and handled luggage. The front desk staff were standard—neither overly enthusiastic nor unfriendly, just middle-of-the-road. A customer service manager did contact me before check-in to inquire about my stay, but I was busy at the time and didn't get a clear explanation of what they needed. When we checked out, someone specifically approached us asking for a five-star review, but I was busy checking in for my flight and the call was cut short.
Upon check-in, they provided toothbrushes and slippers for the child. The front desk on the 80th floor consists of three desks, similar to those for bank wealth managers, positioned right as you exit the elevator. You check-in while seated. There are no signs indicating who is responsible for what, but you can just go to any available staff member. My only discomfort was that it's been a long time since I stayed at a 4-star-plus hotel booked through Trip.com that didn't allow check-in without a deposit. I had to pay a 1000 yuan deposit, which didn't cause any real inconvenience, but it just felt off.
Breakfast is about a 4-star standard. The highlight is Luosifen (snail noodles), and the pastries seemed freshly made and tasted good. Freshly squeezed juice was available, but other than that, there wasn't much special, and the variety was limited. Perhaps I had too high expectations after reading reviews.
The room was very spacious, the bed was high, and it was quiet. However, the layout was a bit confusing to navigate. Despite the low occupancy, my room was very far from the elevator. Maybe it was for a better view?
In summary, this can be classified as a 4-star business hotel on the 80th floor. It truly lives up to its name of being a 'selection' hotel. The view outside was just three tall buildings. I was slightly disappointed. We checked in around 7 PM and left the next morning feeling bored.
There was an option to borrow traditional ethnic costumes for a 1000 yuan deposit per set. They lacked distinctiveness or suitable backdrops for photos, so we just took a few pictures in the room. The clothes were quite new and clean. The overall atmosphere felt a bit sterile. The walk from the ground floor lobby to the elevators was very spacious and empty.

**Room:** The apartment is located in a green energy commercial building, which is a prime location (though a bit noisy during the day). The common areas on the different floors are old and messy. The room design itself is good, with smart home features throughout, and disposable bath towels, regular towels, and bath bags provided. However, the in-room facilities are just average; the hot water for the bathtub and shower wasn't very hot. Also, the room supplies (water, hand soap, bathing products) were unbranded, and the kettle leaked from the spout, spilling hot water when opened and scalding my hand. I suggest improving these aspects; it wouldn't cost much but would significantly enhance the guest experience.

The front desk staff greeted us with a lovely smile and were so gentle. Our room was big and spotless, and the bed was so soft and comfortable. Outside the window, we had a beautiful view, and the room itself had a pleasant fragrance. The hotel environment was also excellent, very quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all. All the staff were very polite and always greeted us. The facilities here are also very comprehensive, making our stay feel incredibly secure. I was so happy with this hotel experience, and next time I travel, I'd love to stay here again! This was truly an unforgettable and wonderful experience!

The best part is its fantastic location right in the central business district. Metro Line 2's Exit G is right outside, and it's just a few minutes walk to Sanjie Liangxiang, Zhongshan Road Night Market, and the Yongjiang River. It was incredibly convenient for evening strolls! The breakfast definitely lived up to the standard of an established hotel, even featuring local specialties from Guangdong and Guangxi. They also offer a special morning tea (available for an extra charge, and the hotel provides coupons). Unfortunately, I missed it because I had an early train to catch, but I'd love to try it next time!

I have to praise the breakfast rice noodles – freshly made to order, the noodles were smooth and springy, and the toppings were abundant. Starting the day with a hot, authentic bowl really set me up for a great day. The service was thoughtful, and it was great value for money. Highly recommended! It's also very close to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, Three Lanes and Two Alleys, and more.

The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom.
Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent.
In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

MM441247****The service was warm and attentive. As soon as our family got out of the taxi, someone helped us with our luggage and pushed the stroller to check-in. They even gave us two small toys because they saw we had a child. They also brought plenty of water, worried that our child might have trouble adjusting to the new environment.
We booked a suite, which was large, though the decor was a bit dated. However, the hotel informed us immediately and offered to change rooms. But seeing the large room, thick carpet, and spacious bathtub, we were already very satisfied, and the price was reasonable.
Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of freshly stir-fried vegetables – bok choy, cauliflower, lotus root slices, and sweet peas. The Lao You Fen (a type of rice noodle soup) was also quite tasty. Compared to other hotels with their large quantities of pre-made sausages, chicken nuggets, and steamed buns, I think this place is more suitable for tourists who want to enjoy some vegetarian dishes to balance things out. For more delicious food, you can go to a specialty restaurant outside. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and transportation is quite convenient.
