I took my children to Dalian during my summer trip. I wanted to play on the sea and discover the kingdom. I chose this hotel after a lot of choices. First of all, the location: you can see it on the left side of the street after getting off the light rail and walking for 7 to 8 minutes. Environment: clean and tidy. Facilities: Powerful shower, heated toilet seat. I found the bed comfortable. One bed is enough for 1 adult and 1 child. Electric curtains and Xiaodu intelligence are a surprise for children, who can listen to bedtime stories. The air conditioner cannot be hung up to prevent direct blowing. Hygiene: No blind spots. I paid special attention to the toilet and shower room. They were all clean and the bedding was white (although I brought my own disposable sheets, I also noticed the bedding). Service: The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful! Although it wasn't until 2pm, we checked in an hour early! When I checked out the next day, I would like to express my special thanks. I took my children to catch a boat trip and came back late. I was so anxious that I was sweating. I was anxious to let my children take a shower. The front desk staff was very patient and told me not to worry, not to worry. ! Breakfast: It’s really rich, especially the vegetable salad! The fruits 🍉 and 🍈 are also very sweet and fresh. The purple sweet potato buns that the children like to eat are gone, and the staff replenished them in time. I am really happy traveling in Dalian 🥳. It’s too tired to take the children to play, so I booked the park hotel. The young lady who checked in was not only beautiful but also had a very good service. She helped us upgrade the room type. The two children were very clean. The hotel was very clean. It was also very convenient to enter and exit the park. It was also very convenient to eat. I stayed in Dalian for 3 nights. The first night was in Dalian city, and the second and third nights were in Jinshitan. I stayed at 3 different hotels, and I honestly think the Hard Rock Hotel deserves a great review. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and very meticulous, and check-in was exceptionally fast. Then, a staff member named 'Yi Yang Qian Xi' (a playful reference to a celebrity, likely implying excellent service) helped carry my luggage to the room, which I found very thoughtful and considerate. Both the hotel's hardware and software aspects left me very satisfied! The key thing is, during the May Day holiday, among hotels in the average price range of 800-1000, the Hard Rock Hotel truly stands out in all aspects. Whether it's the location, the hotel facilities, or the staff's service attitude and professionalism, everything was excellent. This is my genuine review, not a insincere one written to get discounts or gifts, but a true reflection of my stay!

We chose the Hilton Jinshitan for our kids' spring break, and the location is fantastic. It's within walking distance to Discoveryland, and you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beach. If you prefer to stay put, there's plenty of sand for digging right by the hotel. The hotel's own playground and pool kept the kids entertained for hours. It's a great choice for a relaxing, slow-paced vacation.

The room is not soundproofed, and the conversations in the adjacent rooms can be heard clearly. There is an elevator, and there are four floors in total, which is convenient for going up and down. This time, my friend and I came to Dalian and chose the Licheng Haoting Hotel, which completely exceeded our expectations! The sea view from the room was absolutely stunning; you could just lie in bed and wait for the sunrise – the experience was truly incredible. The hygiene was impeccable, the facilities were new, and the service attitude was fantastic; they responded quickly to any issues. The location is right by Jinshitan Happy Coast, making it convenient for going out and exploring. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The hotel service was fantastic; they promptly addressed all my needs. They even offered a complimentary late check-out, which was a nice touch. The location is superb, right next to the train station, making transportation super convenient. Plus, it's close to Dalian Shopping Mall, Zhongyuan Snack Street, Intime City, and very near the subway station. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

GGuest UserI arrived at approximately 2:00 PM, and although my room was not yet cleaned due to the holiday period, I understood the situation. I checked into Room 232, the 270-degree sea view room, which was the highest available category at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. The condition of the room facilities was disappointing. In the first bathroom, the flush button was loose and partially detached, and there were visible cracks on the wall. In the second bathroom inside the sea-view bedroom, the door stopper was detached and the drainage system did not function properly.
Additionally, the glass panel near the wardrobe had a long crack, which made us uncomfortable using the area as we were concerned about causing further damage. Most importantly, the refrigerator was not functioning. Although a technician came on the first day and informed us that there was no power supply, no proper resolution was provided. On the second day, another technician was arranged, but we had to wait for a long time, which disrupted our travel plans. Eventually, we were informed that the refrigerator could not be used temporarily. As my family stayed for three nights, this meant we were unable to use the refrigerator for the entire stay and had to leave items with the reception, which was very inconvenient and did not reflect the value of the room.
Regarding cleanliness, the first day was satisfactory. However, on the second day, the housekeeping service appeared rushed. There were hair strands left in the room, and the bed was not properly made — the bed cover was simply pulled over without proper arrangement, and the bedding looked untidy and wrinkled. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness standards.
Furthermore, the booking was made for three guests, yet only two glasses were provided in the room. There was no tea available, only bottled water. Communication via WeChat was also quite slow when requesting assistance.
On a positive note, the room view was beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff who assisted us before check-in were helpful. The room design and view are truly impressive. However, after check-in, the overall experience did not meet expectations. Additionally, the mirrors in the room had noticeable stains.
I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for service improvement. Thank you for your attention.

She specifically arranged a non-smoking floor room for us and proactively told us where to find popular local snacks, bubble tea shops, and shopping areas near the hotel. She clearly explained taxi routes and walking directions and even reminded us to be careful when going out at night. She was truly as considerate as a friend.
Walking into the room, I was immediately impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, and the layout was cozy and comfortable, creating a great vibe for photos, perfect for a girls' trip. Throughout our stay, whenever we saw Lisa entering or exiting the hotel, she would always greet us with a smile. When we needed disposable items or extra bottles of water on short notice, we just mentioned it to the front desk, and Lisa would immediately help us out. Her attitude was consistently excellent – patient and thorough, never perfunctory. The hotel's cleaning staff were also very diligent, tidying the room on time every day, making the beds, replenishing supplies, and keeping everything spotless.
Lisa is such a gentle, warm, and detail-oriented person who always puts guests first. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful and down-to-earth, making our stay incredibly comfortable and reassuring. The Shangri-La's location is also very convenient, whether you're going to the airport or attractions. My bestie and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit this area!

WWdayanjingI came to Dalian alone for the 2026 Dalian Marathon and booked this hotel on Trip.com. I couldn't have been luckier! The marathon's start and finish lines are right downstairs, and my room number even coincidentally matched the last digits of my phone number, which made me really happy. The room was super clean, and all the toiletries were excellent, single-use items 👍👍. Plus, it was a proper sea-view room. I could see the starting arch where I'd begin my race and the Donggang seaside attractions from upstairs. If I ever come back to Dalian, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. Hhongyanliu56Participated in the Dalian Marathon. This was my second time visiting Dalian, and just like my previous trip during the 2019 Qingming holiday, I stayed at the InterContinental. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. I usually head towards Zhongshan Square Station, but on checkout day, the doorman, the guy with the long hair in a ponytail, recommended Friendly Square Station and even walked me to the intersection. I really appreciated that! The hotel breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety, including Dalian specialties like sea cucumber porridge with rice and kidney bean clam noodles, plus roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), wraps, and fried dough sticks. I got to try them all! Housekeeping was very prompt; every day I'd leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to a clean room. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a main overhead light, making it a bit dim.

It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. AAnonymous UserThe hotel accepts foreigners. Great location, a walking distance from Dalian Station, essentially on Zhongshan Square. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option.
