Hotels near Beimen Metro Station, Taipei

I’ve been to many hostels, but this is definitely one of the best I’ve stayed in. One of the biggest plus points for me is the location — it’s only about a 2-minute walk to Ximending, which is super convenient. When I arrived, everything was clean and modern. What really makes me happy in a hostel is cleanliness, and this place definitely delivers. And the TOWELS — that’s everything to me! The staff are also very nice, friendly, and speak English, which makes everything so much easier. The rooms are fully air-conditioned even when it’s already 17°C outside. Another amazing bonus: free laundry! Honestly, that’s such a big deal when traveling. What I appreciated the most was how kind and accommodating the staff were. My checkout was on March 7 at 11 AM, but my flight was at 12 AM the next morning (March 8). They kindly allowed me to leave my things and stay around the hostel while I explored Taipei for the day. When I came back before heading to the airport, they even let me take a shower before my flight. That kind of hospitality really means a lot to travelers. This is probably one of my favorite hostels now, and I can’t wait to come back!

Pros: - Location near Beimen station exit 3🟢 (3-5 mins walk) and Taipei Main station exit Y27🔴 (3-5 mins walk to gate + 12-15 mins walk to station) - 7-11 is right beside the hotel, and Family Mart is opposite the hotel - Laundry service is provided with reasonable price, collect within the same day - Can order pineapple tarts (and other souvenirs) from hotel, no need to buy outside and carry it back - Cleanliness is satisfying, nothing to complain - Slippers are provided, but is disposable and very thin Cons: - Room is small, can barely open two 24” luggages, but need to be folded if you want to walk around - Lightning is dim even after turning on all the lights in the room - Toilet is fragile, cannot throw anything into the toilet bowl including toilet paper - Bathroom is small and no hooks for holding clothes Tips: If you are going to Taoyuan Airport, enter via Taipei City Mall exit Y24, not Taipei Main Station exit Y27 (closed in early morning around 5am). If it is open, you still need to walk 12-15 mins to reach the express train station. For those who from Taoyuan Airport, might exit via Taipei City Mall exit Y24 as well, near the gate right after tapping the card.

Location: • About 5–10mins’ walk from Beimen Station & Taipei Main Station (Airport Express), which is very convenient • Close to long underground shopping mall, BUT many entrances/exits only have stairs • Taipei Main Station seems near, but the station is huge, so walking there can feel closer to 15mins. • There’s a bus from XMD that stops right outside the hotel. • Around 15–20mins’ walk to Ximending & Ningxia Night Market, which was great! Room: • Staying on lvl 1 was convenient as we didn’t have to wait for lift • But there’s less security since anyone can access the corridor • The room was very clean • Water pressure in the shower was excellent • Bathtub & shower are combined, which can be dangerous & not ideal for elderly guests. Service: • Self check-in and check-out were smooth and easy • Efficient room service • You can pre-order Fuhang Soymilk for bfast & pastries from famous shops like chiate to be delivered to you. Overall: 8/10 ☺️

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was very convenient, close to public transportation, restaurants, and several local attractions. Check-in was quick and the staff were polite and helpful whenever I had questions. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was cozy and the air conditioning worked well, which made the stay comfortable. Basic amenities such as free Wi-Fi, toiletries, and a small desk were provided. However, the soundproofing could be improved since I could occasionally hear noise from the hallway. Overall, this hotel offers good value for the price. It may not have the luxury features of higher-rated hotels, but it provides a clean, comfortable place to stay with friendly service. I would recommend it for travelers looking for an affordable and convenient option.

For me, the stay was excellent. The air conditioning was sufficient, and the hot water was hot enough; a bit more water pressure would have been perfect. It's a 5-minute walk to Chen Wei Zhen and Ximending, and about a 10-minute walk to Dihua Street. You can also walk to the Y-area of the underground mall from Beimen Station. This is more of a guesthouse or apartment-style lodging, so it shouldn't be compared to hotel-style services.

This is my second stay at this hotel. I've tried other hotels, but I always end up coming back here. It smells lovely right from the entrance. The room I chose isn't large, but it doesn't feel cramped for two people. The breakfast options aren't extensive, but they are delicious. The location is close to the MRT, or you can walk to Ximending. I'm always impressed with this hotel.

Our stay at this luxurious hotel was nothing short of spectacular. From the warm welcome at check-in to the flawless service throughout, every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The room was elegantly designed with plush king bedding, floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking city views, and high-end amenities that made mornings feel brand new. The rooftop restaurant served exquisite dishes paired with impeccable wine selections, while the serene spa provided the perfect unwind after exploring. Staff anticipated every need with genuine care. Prime location, spotless facilities, and a peaceful vibe made it unforgettable. Highly recommend—five stars all the way! (98 words)

The location is fantastic, right opposite the Y13 exit. First off, you'll need to climb stairs to reach the service counter as there's no elevator. The bathroom is en-suite, and they provide lockers. As for the bed setup, there's a small space at the head for personal items, and extra room at the foot of the bed for your luggage, backpack, and other belongings, which really helps create a more private feel. They offer a simple breakfast including toast, buns, shaomai, coffee, and tea.

We loved our stay Taipei, enjoyed the spacious room on a high floor. The staff was super friendly and we appreciated the option for self service laundry. Room to improve: the too strict check in time. If one arrives after a 12 hrs flight it would be a courtesy at zero cost for the hotel to let the visitor check in at 1.30., instead of pointing to the lobby sofa and let us wait....other hotels show more flexibility

Decided to check in at 10pm at night due to a bad airbnb nearby. The staff was good to upgrade my room as she saw me bringing a child. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Had a nice rest there.
