The staff are friendly, it's clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, which was crucial given it was +34 outside. The breakfasts are delicious. "When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered that the name of the hotel contained the word ”patients” and that there was an ambulance parked at the door. I realized that this hotel was special. Pass through, park in the garage, and check in. It turns out that this is a health hotel, connected to the nearby hospital. The entire hotel facilities are a bit like the domestic United Family style, very clean, comfortable and user-friendly, and the top terrace has an unparalleled view of the lake. The breakfast is also very rich, a great stay experience."

"Good environment. Good size room. Bedsheets come with slight black stain. Breakfast is the same every day. Horrible front desk service. Worst experience ever in my numerous trips to Switzerland and staying in different hotels. Requested reception to help book taxi to train station for early morning train to airport 2 days before departure. Reminded them evening before and was assured it has been done. Come time of pickup and no taxi came. Checked with reception and he said need to wait for taxi company to call back and need at least 20 minutes!! Requested him to expedite and he asked me to book uber myself!!!! Installed uber and got myself a vehicle and just in time for the train. Speechless"

"I had a really lovely stay at Fassbind Hotel Palmier Lausanne. The location is perfect — right next to the train station and just steps from the M2 metro, which makes everything so easy. My room was clean, spacious, and had a very nice, cozy vibe. I immediately felt comfortable. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily stay here again."

"The hotel is located in a very convenient location, near both the metro and train station. The staff at the front desk and breakfast buffet were also very pleasant and friendly. Although there were a few hiccups with regards to the rooms conditions, when mentioned, the service recovery by front office staff Michelle was very fast and satisfactory! Thank you for making the stay more pleasant and enjoyable. A travel guide book was also provided during check in that's shows the must sees and dos in Lausanne."

"My two companions and I had a fantastic three-night stay. The hotel is modern and spotless, with all the facilities and furniture feeling very new. We were particularly impressed with the complimentary transportation card, which was incredibly convenient for getting around. Be sure to ask about it at the front desk when you arrive! The service was impeccable. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us great advice on local transport, helping us avoid unnecessary costs. Although we couldn't modify our booking to change the last night to a double room due to platform restrictions, the hotel replied to our email quickly and professionally. A wonderful touch was the chocolate fountain in the lobby, it was a delightful treat that put us in a great mood every day. We highly recommend this hotel, they also have very nice gym (see the photo below)."

"Hotel was really clean and new with complimentary parking. Free transport ticket throughout Lausanne was given. Would be nice if there’s a kettle and mini fridge in the room. But overall, nice stay."
