Hotels near Metro Aumale, Anderlecht

Nicely designed and allocated small hotel. Rooms are pretty and photogenic without losing the practical aspects of accommodation. Breakfast was great without feeling over crowded like most hotel of this scale. Staffs were very helpful and attentive. Location wise is a little let down but then again is not the hotel problem. It is about a 10-20 mins walk to nearby attractions but this 10-15 mins is through a pretty rough looking neighbour.

Hotel was really close to the train station which made it very convenient to get to Ghent and Bruges. About 20mins to centre of Brussels. Clean, well kept and lives up to its 4 stars. For the price it is a steal in Brussels. Will be back again!

When traveling from Brussels, I had to take the Eurostar, so I booked a hotel near Brussels Midi Station. However, it was a bit far to travel with a suitcase and there were few people, so the location was a bit disappointing when traveling at night or early in the morning. Still, the accommodation was clean, the staff was friendly, and most importantly, the room was spacious.

Breakfast: Very good, simple and healthy, appropriate food to start a day. Room: Clean and Organized, FYI: heater and aircon of the room is operated by the front desk so make sure to check it they turn it on otherwise, like me, im freezing for 2 hours when i asked them why my room is cold 😅. Staffs: they are all nice and accommodating. Just ask them anything if you need something to know. AND its a BIG PLUS they know how to convo in English! BRAVO! what i like is there is a kitchenette and coffee machine and electric kettle. I just hope that they will have a free cleaning in the room in a minimum stay or a broom and dustpan in the room. Because I stay for a week so 1 week no sweeping the floor all i can do is wipe the floor with tissue. or the towel they provide. I COMMEND one guy(bald white) sorry for my description, 😅he is really attentive to serve the breakfast. Great service! Keep it up appart city!

Access: It's about a 5-minute walk from the last stop on the subway, but it takes 20-30 minutes from the city center. Room: The hotel room has a refrigerator, which is convenient. It's clean. It's a global chain, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind.

Similar to the group rental of the homestay ➕, there is no signboard outside, and I can't find it at first. There is no spacious front desk like the general hotel lobby. There is a little space on the 0th floor. Near the subway line. There are 3 compartments on each floor, and the compartment I live in has 5 households. The compartment has a door and a password is required to enter. There is a strong fragrance in the compartment, I don't like it. The room also needs a password. It seems that the door lock is not very secure and a bit lacking in security. There is a simple kitchen, no kettle, and the bathroom bathroom is OK. Sound insulation is average. Hotel supplies are average. With generally higher prices in Brussels, this hotel is a reluctant option.

Very practical location. Excellent staff that did everything for us to be comfortable and have a good stay.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights during our trip to Brussels. When we arrived early, the lady at reception was very kind and allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated after travelling. Later that evening, after spending the day exploring Brussels, we returned to the hotel very late and exhausted. That’s when we noticed there was an old blood stain on the bedsheets. The bed was also extremely itchy, and it felt like something was biting us during the night, although we couldn’t find any visible bugs. The next morning, we had to leave very early to catch a train to Luxembourg, and again returned late that evening. We informed the receptionist about the stained sheets, but unfortunately he was very rude and dismissive. He told us our complaint was “unacceptable” because we reported it late in the evening and should have mentioned it in the morning instead. In our opinion, he could have simply passed the issue on to the morning staff so it could be handled properly. What made things worse was that housekeeping made the bed the next day but did not replace the sheets at all the blood stain was still there. Our trip itself was amazing, but sadly, about a week later, both my girlfriend and I were diagnosed with Lyme disease after experiencing bites during our stay. We cannot say for certain where it came from, but our experience in the hotel room definitely raised concerns. Very disappointing experience, especially considering the poor handling of a hygiene-related complaint.

Generally speaking, the location is the area where the Middle East people live. It is 4 minutes from the South Railway Station. The quadruple room has to take the stairs.
