The night receptionists were great, with excellent service. The location is in Zone 2, and you can catch a ride right outside the corner, though for a group, taking an Uber to the city center might be more cost-effective. The hotel's design meant that none of the bathroom doors had locks. In our first room, the bathroom door was semi-transparent with a large gap on the side, making it uncomfortable and awkward since there were four of us sharing the room. After speaking with the staff, we were moved to another room with a solid wooden bathroom door, which was much better. However, the new room's lighting was very dim, and some power outlets were loose; even their own lamp would fall out. The small cooking light in the kitchen was also broken. The towel rack in the bathroom was attached to the ceiling, but the ceiling around it was cracked and looked like it was about to fall, which felt quite dangerous. One day, I requested room cleaning and left a note asking them not to make the bed, but the staff didn't even empty the bathroom trash; instead, they left a trash bag for me to change myself.... There were only two tissues left, and they weren't refilled. When I went down to the reception, the staff said they could only make a note to refill them tomorrow, as they didn't have any immediately available. There was no phone in the room, so I had to go to the front desk myself to find staff. Each shift only had one receptionist, so usually, I'd have to wait 10-15 minutes while they dealt with other guests, which was ridiculous. It's not that the staff are bad, but they are severely understaffed! Also, because there was a kitchen but no cooking utensils, when I asked the front desk, the receptionist had to personally bring a set up... they're clearly too busy!

Great location located near the free tram zone. Staff was incredibly friendly and great to deal with. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Melbourne.

👍 The Ibis Melbourne Central Hotel's location is absolutely perfect! It's super convenient for transport, being so close to the central station and all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are new, the room is spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and promptly helped solve any issues. Plus, the breakfast is great!

It's OK. The restaurants around are OK. It's convenient to eat there.

The room was very quiet, and the bathroom was spotless. The kitchen area was large and well-equipped. They have a cinema, study room, rooftop, kitchen, and gym. The night view from the rooftop is absolutely stunning.

Парковка на территории присутствует, действительно без доплаты Отличное расположение, до центра города пешком около 15 мин через красивый район и парк. До Ботанического сада пешком 30 мин

Great location and very clean hotel The hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-8 minute walk to the city center around Flinders Street and Flinders Street Station, making it very easy to get around Melbourne. The hotel is very clean, and the check-in area on Level 7 is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating if you arrive early and need to wait before check-in. The facilities are quite new and well maintained. Daily housekeeping was excellent and consistently done to a high standard. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Melbourne in the future!

The room layout was clean and simple. The bathroom, judging by the faucets, showed its age, and it took a bit more time to adjust the hot water. The service was neither exceptional nor poor; housekeeping proactively came in, mainly to empty the trash and replenish tea bags. The gym and pool were nice, and there were welcome fruits. The hotel has two Tesla EV charging stations (medium speed), which are included in the daily AUD 30 fee, so there's no extra charge for charging. Therefore, I ask Trip.com to update the hotel's facility details accordingly.

The carpet was dusty around the corners, the curtain had fallen down, the ceiling in the toilet was stripped and the room was full of a musty smell when we first entered it. The location is convenient, a Woolworths is nearby the hotel. The staff at the check-in counter is nice Even if you hang on the tag ”Please Clean up” outside your home , no one would come to clean the room We went to reception to get Toilet amenities everyday, it has an adequate amount of amenities which is good.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great — a pleasant area that isn’t overcrowded with tourists. The rooms are excellent, with large queen-size beds, which was very important for us. The hotel also offers a good range of facilities, including a pool, sauna, and breakfast. While the breakfast is not very extensive, it is perfectly sufficient for a few days and includes all the essentials. There is also an option to order food, which is very convenient. We would definitely be happy to return to this hotel on our next visit to Melbourne. A big thank you to the staff for everything!
