"The hotel's location is great, with nice views, and it's quite convenient to get everywhere. The aquarium is just across the bridge downstairs, which is very handy if you're with kids. The room cleaning was very thorough, and the front desk staff were quite friendly. For breakfast, the fruit selection was particularly generous, and everything else was standard but adequate. My only minor gripe is the breakfast timing: weekdays are 7-9:30 AM. It would be more reasonable if it were 6-10 AM, as many hotels I've stayed at even offer breakfast until 11 AM. 9:30 AM feels a bit early to finish. Also, it offers good value for money; the rooms are spacious, and for the price, it's pretty decent."

"We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid. What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though. However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown Casino Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached."

"The location and reception service were excellent. The room was clean and tidy. However, only adults received a bath towel and room service wasn’t available until 4:00 pm the next day. Once we contacted reception it was sorted out immediately. The entertainment options were limited and there was no wifi. This was disappointing for us travelling with children as we couldn’t watch Netflix or any other paid service. Check-in and check-out were easy and they offered excellent SMS service."

"1. **Cleanliness:** The room was quite clean, basically spotless, making for a very comfortable stay. 2. **Environment:** The overall environment is excellent. There's a laundry room, and a separate restroom on the first floor that guests can use even after checking out. The location is also fantastic – just a short walk from Southern Cross Station, with a tram stop nearby. It's only a three or four stop ride to Flinders Street Station. 3. **Service:** The service was decent. I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff, but basic English was sufficient. 4. **Facilities:** Everything else was great, except for the showerhead. The water pressure was very low, and it was a rainfall-style shower with a wide spray angle. For women under 180cm, it's hard to reach the water when it's initially strong, and by the time it reaches you, it's barely a drizzle. It made showering quite uncomfortable."

"This hotel is probably a business hotel in the CBD. The room is a bit small, but comfortable enough. It's surrounded by office buildings and parking lots, making it quite convenient for getting around. You can also get a good view of the street from the rooftop bar. There's a great chain steakhouse nearby, but for other dining options, you'll need to go to the city center."

"I was very satisfied with this booking. I booked a special 3-day, 2-night king room, and the Chinese front desk assistant kindly upgraded me to a river view room for free. It's a 20-minute walk to the city, and there's a free tram stop right outside. Across the river is DFO South Wharf, with all sorts of sports brands. If you get tired of shopping, you can grab a bite to eat on the basement level. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the hotel entrance was a bit small, and it took me a while to find it. 😋"

"I booked a deluxe room, and it was pretty good. The living room, bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom were all clearly separated and quite spacious. It's about a 10-minute walk from Southern Cross Station. The only downsides were the higher price due to the last-minute booking and some noise disturbance since it faced the road."

"Absolute lack of room amenities gave me a chuckle, its 2026, why are cheap instant coffee sticks anywhere near these rooms when hotels hostels and bnbs everywhere else in the world have some approximation of a pod style machine in single rooms let alone king rooms. Room was dusty, with detritus on the carpet on arrival, there was a somewhat obvious hole in my sheets near the head of the bed, any attendant who made the bed couldn't have missed it so i can only assume no one really cares about working here enough to silently take care of something like that. Walls are so remarkably thin that I could hear an 'electric toothbrush' running in the next room, when I wasnt being shocked out of sleep by the sound of the toilet lid slamming down in the other next door room. miscellaneous pillow stain was an interesting one too. Even after leaving it topside, it wasn't changed for 2 days. Shower cant decide if it was to be scalding hot or arctic, but at least the pressure was pretty excellent. only things supplied in the bathroom was a single hairdryer, a water glass and a sanitary hygiene disposal bag. I'd love to know which accountant justified cutting Q-tips out of the room budget. The little downstairs cafe downstairs feels like it belongs in the backrooms attached to some forgotten convention centre, if sacrificing two bottles of water and a coffee maker in the rooms is what it took for this paltry excuse of a cafe to live, then I feel very sad for the future of Melbourne hotels. But again, i DID sleep very soundly for the majority of my stay. And a special shoutout to the gentlemen at the front desk, genuinely quite helpful and has a pretty great customer service attitude."
