"We had a wonderful stay at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Buenos Aires and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We were three couples traveling together and stayed in three separate rooms, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. What truly stood out was their generosity and flexibility — they kindly allowed us to store our luggage for several extra days while we continued our travels, which made a huge difference for us and took away a lot of stress.
The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the hotel felt safe and well organized. The location was also very convenient for getting around Buenos Aires.
We sincerely appreciate the hospitality and excellent service provided by the entire team. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires, especially travelers who value friendly service and thoughtful support."
"The whole wall and the door have paint off.
The hall is beautiful.
At night, the lights in the corridor are dimmer.
In the evening, you need to open the door with a key tag.
As soon as I entered the door, the room had a fragrance, which was just thick and tasted pleasant. I slept well.
In the morning, people outside the room will be heard walking and talking
The sheets are balled up, not skin-friendly enough.
The TV is turned on, loading is slow, and after successful opening, it is the YouTube page.
The sink has hot water, which is very good.
Shower showers are not handheld.
The bathroom is small and has dry and wet separation.
There are laundry, cafe, supermarket, small shop, several ice cream shops near the hotel. To find various restaurants, you have to go far.
At 11 p.m., there is also an ice cream shop, a Chinese Peruvian dish and a burdock shop.
The trash cans on the streets near the hotel are poorly hygienic, smelly, garbage is turned out, there are feces everywhere, and there are sleepers.
The hotel is closest to the Temple of the Virgin Rose. Go to May Square, the Athenian Bookstore, some distance."
"Compared with hotels, the difference is that there is no way to check in early. If it is a small partner of the plane in the middle of the night, try to stay in the hotel. At least you can blow the heating in the lobby without blowing cold air on the street.
The overall environment is OK, the big is very big, the air conditioning is enough, the hot water is enough, it is also very clean, that is the problem I said above, if you want to check in, remember to call in advance, because their company's location and navigation accommodation location are not together."
"The room was spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.
However, there are two important things future guests should be aware of. First, pay close attention to the location before booking. I didn’t realize it at first, but the hotel is located in an area that many locals consider one of the less safe parts of the city. After I booked, several local people were surprised that I had chosen to stay there.
Second, the hotel is located directly inside a restaurant. This was quite awkward and inconvenient, especially when arriving with luggage. To get to your room, you have to walk through the restaurant while people are dining, which is not the most comfortable experience.
Overall, the room itself and the service were good, but the location and access to the property may not be suitable for everyone."
"We got a low floor room facing inside, thus there was no view at all. You wouldn't want to open the window, which was opaque to ensure some privacy. Facing inside had an unexpected advantage, though, because you didn't get any noise from the pedestrian street out there, compared to the rooms facing outside.
The room card didn't work, and the front desk re-programmed it twice. Even then you had to place the card for about 5 seconds before the door would unlock.
Our room looked basic, but everything seemed to be there: wardrobe, safe deposit box, TV, small refrigerator, luggage rack, hair dryer, even reading lights above our beds.
The location is, undoubtedly, very central and convenient with all kinds of shops and restaurants right there.
In summary, if you want a basic bed/room on a budget, you are in the right place."
"The hotel is centrally located and it’s very easy and cheap to get around using Uber or DiDi. The room had good space and natural light, felt very clean, and was serviced daily.
One small issue was that there was no bottled or filterwater in the room, and I didn’t know that tap water is drinkable in Argentina. Since there was no information provided, I ended up going thirsty the first night. It would be helpful if the hotel informed guests about this.
Otherwise, the staff were always friendly and smiling. The included breakfast was simple but good enough for a light start to the day, and I liked that there’s a grill machine to make toasties. The room was basic but comfortable, with a good bed and a safe box.
Overall, it was good value for money and I would consider staying again."
"Tripeca Hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are surprisingly big, giving you plenty of space to relax and unpack comfortably. The location is excellent — close to everything you need and perfect for exploring the area on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and good advice.
Overall, a very solid hotel experience. I’d happily stay here again."
"Struttura maestosa, molto d’effetto. Andrebbe un po’ rimodernata, soprattutto l’impianto elettrico. Gentilissimo il sig. Mariano della reception che ci ha informati sullo sciopero del personale aeroportuale e, grazie al suo aiuto, non abbiamo perso l’aereo. Ottima esperienza, consigliatissimo!"
"On Bolivar Road in Buenos Aires, next to Defensa, you can also go to the flea market on Sundays, not far from the Boca district. The decoration of the boutique hotel is very elegant, more like one of the bedrooms in the home. The young lady at the front desk was also very friendly and called us Uber in the morning flight."

Amazing
GGuest UserFierro Hotel is a true gem! The location is good but we took a taxi nearly everywhere. There are lots of eateries all around this neighborhood though.
The people at the desk exceed themselves in giving the best service they can. We arrived mid-morning, and we only had to wait a few minutes before our 2 rooms were ready. We waited in their dining room where they served us their amazing breakfast that comes with the room.
We ate many of our meals here because the food is amazing, chef-prepared. The wines recommended by their in-house sommelier are delicious.
The rooms are big with a fridge stocked with champagne if desired. Also a separate wine fridge stocked with several wines.
The desk folks have great suggestions for things to do as well as calling a taxi, English-speaking if desired. We asked about a dinner show with tango. It did not disappoint! They made our reservations, we were picked up and taken to the venue and it was great!
We needed a late checkout and they allowed us to stay til 2 pm.
I can't guarantee that on busier days the same accommodations to time in and out can be given. But we can leave our luggage safely if needed, even use of the facilities of pool, dining and sauna were offered after checkout.
I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The only negative thing was having to leave!
GGuest UserThe rooms are fully equipped, comfortable, spacious, and bright. The kitchen is clean and well-maintained, and the service is friendly and attentive. The environment is elegant and pleasant, with flowers and greenery. Parking is free and convenient.
GGuest UserGood location. Older building complex, does tje job well, and meets the price requirements. The staff is very helpful and thus staying here was comfortable and worked well. Overall a descent hotel and comfortable rooms. Didn't try the food.
SSZ2020Relatively new, very clean, the surrounding facilities are very complete, there is a park downstairs, the environment is good. Not very far from the subway station industry, travel is very convenient. The landlord is also friendly?
LLKHAGVASURENI'm always so happy to stay in the Top Rentals Downtown hotel in Buenos Aires. Very good location in the heart of Buenos Aires. Very clean and comfortable rooms with so beautiful views of the city in the high floors. I really would like to say my thankfulness for Nelson, Rocio, Agostina, Indra and all of other Team of the hotel. They are all very warmly, friendly and such a helpful and strong team. The breakfast in the Saint Moritz Restaurant is so fantastic. One of my favourite hotels in the Buenos. Strongly recommended
Ainda assim, indico.
VVickie TehI was initially worried after reading some negative reviews, especially since I had a late check-in around 10pm. However, my experience turned out to be completely different.
I contacted the staff via WhatsApp, and they were very responsive and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and completely hassle-free, which was a huge relief after a long day of travel.
Considering the price and location in the city, I think it’s definitely worth it. The accommodation itself has a very creative and unique design, which adds to the overall experience.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend it 👍
GGuest UserThis is the 4th stay. The staff is friendly and very nice. The room has a simple kitchen, but it's very spacious and easy to use. I think that it is beautiful as a whole because it is not so many years since it was built. There are rooms with showers only, but I don't feel so inconvenient. Obelisco and Florida Street are within walking distance, and the subway station is also nearby. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Breakfast is perfect continental, so if you are not satisfied, you should buy it at a supermarket. Recommended hotel with high cospa.
