Mulan Hostel

The boss is friendly and enthusiastic. He can speak Chinese. Although the room is a bit small, the bed is very big. There is storage space next to the extra wide single bed. The bed is also a new memory mattress. The experience is very good. Although the public space is a bit small, the overall wooden style is very warm. When I return to the hotel in the cold weather in late autumn, I really feel like I am warm and at home. The cooperative hot spring bath is also very good. There is an outdoor spring where you can relax. The location is only five minutes away from Arashiyama Street but it perfectly avoids the crowds. The main station - Hankyu Arashiyama, you don't need to transfer from Osaka and there are few people. To be honest, except for the desolate Arashiyama area at night, it is very suitable for traveling alone or staying with two or three people.

The happiest two nights in Kyoto were given by Mulan. The owner is very nice and enthusiastic to introduce the hot springs near the hotel. I had a pleasant chat with my roommates and rested well. The room is very comfortable and clean. The public area is very lively at night, and I can chat with my friends in the youth hostel. The hotel is very conveniently located near the attractions. There is Lawson nearby and the bus stop is only 100 meters away. Thank you for your care. I will come again next time I go to Arashiyama!

The hotel was booked on the way from Osaka. I didn't expect the environment to be much better than expected. The staff was very friendly (and could speak Chinese!) and gave me a map of the surrounding restaurants and a tourist map of Arashiyama. And the luggage can be stored for free for 24 hours after check-out, which was really touching😭 It takes three minutes to get to the subway station, and it is also very close to Togetsukyo Bridge. It takes about five minutes to walk to the scenic area. There is also a Yusai Pavilion similar to Rurikoin. It will be more beautiful when the maple leaves are in season. There are free coffee machines and microwaves in the public space of the hotel. You can sit and read comic books and TV. In addition, Halloween decorations have also appeared. There will be piano music in the public space. It is very comfortable to sit and drink tea and coffee. Although I only stayed in three hotels during this trip to Kansai, this hotel is the most satisfactory one. I feel very warm when traveling alone. If I come to Arashiyama again, I will choose Mulan Hotel!
