The location is very good near Kyoto Station. The hotel is small but modern and clean. They made me wait two hours to check in, but that's the rules; I already knew beforehand. They also allowed me to leave my bags while I went to lunch and waited to enter. The room is small, but like all in Japan, it's a standard room that meets everything you need for a good stay. It's clean, modern, and tidy. For one person, that's fine; for two people with large suitcases, the space is very tight. For the price, location, and facilities, the hotel is highly recommended.

Excellent place from which to operate. Small rooms but larger than other hotels we have stayed at, while being extremely economical.

Great location, bigger rooms than normal in Japan, small balcony to dry your wet shirts from the walk in the heat, great lunch buffet. On this trip I stayed in Japan 2 weeks, Nagasaki, Fukuoka,Hiroshima and the shopping mall overflowing with tourists and somd attached temples, Kyoto. This was the best hotel!

Conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The room is compact, but that’s quite typical for Japan based on my personal experience. It’s a great stay overall, especially with the added convenience of a washing machine and dryer.

Hotel Briller in Kyoto has an excellent value for money, as well as a very good location (10min walk from Kyoto station) Quite spacious and very clean rooms. Fully recommend this hotel 👍
