First time in Kunming, I picked this Hanting hotel and ended up eating roasted pig trotters from next door for three days straight! Nanping Street is just a quick turn left or right from the entrance, and there are so many bubble tea shops it's hard to choose. Coming back at night and seeing the neon lights flashing, I inexplicably felt like I was back in my 'happy old home' 😄. The room was more spacious than I expected. As someone who unpacks everything, I could spread out my suitcase and still move around freely. The bedding was truly therapeutic; after a long day of sightseeing, I'd sink into the pillows and instantly fall into a deep sleep. The next day, the cleaning lady folded the duvet so neatly, like a perfect tofu block, it was almost too cute to mess up! ~ I absolutely have to praise the front desk staff! Seeing me carrying a gift box of flower cakes, they proactively offered super strong packing tape. On the day I left, it was pouring rain, and the umbrella they lent us was rainbow-colored! 🌈 (A detail-oriented person's absolute delight). ...The elevator wait was a bit long (which just shows how good their business is). Maybe it's because there are so many tourists? But considering it's only a 10-minute walk to Jinmafang, this lazy person says it's totally forgivable! ~ I've already sent the hotel's location to my best friend who's coming next year. For this kind of value for money, what more could you ask for? 👏

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around. The front desk lady was incredibly welcoming during check-in, proactively providing information about nearby breakfast shops and walking routes to the Cuihu Scenic Area. By far the best Hanting Hotel I have ever stayed at. Their new, so called ” 3.51” version of Hanting Hotels is outstanding. Extremly friendly, helpful (despite huge language barrier) and professional staff. Big, meticulouly clean and quiet rooms with comfy beds on the 10th floor. Western style breakfast, Metro station across the road and many shops around the building.

I thought the pace could be slower on the last day. I asked about the check-out time and was told that it was 12:00. Tan Hao saw my hesitation and asked me if I needed to delay my arrival. This hotel was chosen for both landing in Kunming and returning. There is basically nothing wrong with it. The only drawback is that the room is a little small, but it is OK for 2 people. After all, the houses in this old city are built like this. The breakfast is very satisfactory. I also ate in 5-star hotels during the trip.
