"To anyone thinking of staying here, please, *please* consider it very carefully. Read the honest reviews from us, the 'victims' of this guesthouse's injustice. If anyone says this guesthouse is good, they are definitely a shill. Be wise before you regret it like my family and I did. I booked through Trip.com. This was truly a nightmare. I booked two rooms for two nights. On the first day, we checked in late, around 7 PM. The sheets were dirty, pillows moldy, walls moldy, lots of ants, no soap, no hot water, and the towels were torn, grubby, and unfit for use. My refund request for the second day was denied. Effectively, I only stayed 12 hours because I checked out at 8 AM on the 15th. This guesthouse is an abomination. Go ahead and enjoy the money from deceived customers who are forced to check out early because the service and room facilities are not as promised. If we can't claim justice in this world, we, the disappointed ones, will claim it in the afterlife. For anything and everything, I am utterly unforgiving and discontent!"

"Simple hotel and hostel next to Yogya’s oldest neighborhood. Fun to walk around and explore and get lost in the the narrow streets just south of this place. Breakfasts are small and simple and get repetitive if you’re staying for 3 or 4 (or in my case 7) nights. But nearby are other basic food options and a mini-mart. Also attached to the hostel is a local gym that offers inexpensive classes most days."

Worth to stay in Kota Gede of you would to explore Kota Gede the famous silver crafts stores and the previous Mataram’s funeral complex. Kotagede is one of the historical areas in Yogyakarta city. In this sub-district there are traces of the relics of the Mataram Islamic kingdom which is the forerunner of the Ngayogyakarta Sultanate."

"I stayed here for 2 nights in the highest room type, deluxe. Upon check-in, the receptionist was rather indifferent. I arrived in the room hoping to rest immediately, but the room was stuffy, the bedsheets were torn, and there were several dirty spots that couldn't be removed. When I lay down, there was an earring under the pillow that pricked me. The bathroom amenities included torn towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Body wash and shampoo were provided in separate tubes. The bathroom was dirty, as if it hadn't been scrubbed in a long time, and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. The TV wouldn't turn on, and the remote was broken. I complained to the receptionist, but no solution was offered. When it was time to sleep, it was also uncomfortable, so I couldn't sleep at all. Consequently, on the second day, we checked out early and didn't stay here anymore. It was very disappointing, because for the same price as this guesthouse, you can get much better and cleaner facilities elsewhere."
