"Hotel Yasmin, is located just 5min walk from the main tourist old town part of Kosice. Hotel looks nice from outside and common areas are modern and nice looking. The room is good size but the hotel room bed is the worst I’ve ever sleep on. Breakfast was standard and although I did not eat in steak restaurant I did have a drink and it looked good. Room has a mini bar but water not free and can also be purchased at reception. Gym is a little dated and basic. In summer back garden could be nice but closed in April when I stayed."

"This hotel is located on the main street, Hlavna ulica, where many of the main sites are located, so your close to the sites and so many restaurants and shops. The room was a little on the small size but just right for someone travelling alone and the furnishings were very nice, all around the hotel. The gentleman I dealt with at the front desk was ever so helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. There was a stocked mini fridge and prices were reasonable. Bathroom was of good size and spotless. If you walk down that main st, past the Cathedral, you'll come to a square where there is a memorial to Russian soldiers who died there in WW2. To the left is a very large 3 story mall. On the near side is a bus stop where many busses stop including #23 to the airport. At the airport, there is a nice little aviation museum for those interested. One word of warning about the restaurants in Kosice. I found they have some long wait times for a meal. One place told me it would be 1 1/2 hours to get a meal, so ask first. The breakfast at the hotel is good.It was great too that its price was included in the price of the room. Most I've been to, you have to pay extra. If by chance you are taking a train from Bratislava, try to get a reserved seat. Your probably best going to the Slovakian railroad site. It's about a 5 1/2 ride with numerous stops. An expres train runs on certain days that has fewer stops which I got but 3 times I had to move out of the seat I was in, not fun when your dealing with luggage in a 6 seat compartment. I was lucky that my roll away was sturdy enough that I could use it for a couple of hours I was sitting in the hallway."

"This was, without a doubt, one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms themselves are comfortable, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The front desk staff were consistently indifferent, unwelcoming, and showed no interest in whether guests were satisfied. There was no sense of hospitality, no smiles, and no willingness to assist. We also found it surprising that the hotel offers no concierge service, which is a significant drawback for travelers. The corridors had an unpleasant smell throughout our stay, which made the overall atmosphere even less enjoyable. My husband had breakfast at the hotel and described it as very poor in terms of both quality and variety. Overall, the service fell far below what we expected. Customer service is the heart of any hotel, and sadly this property completely missed the mark. I would not recommend staying here, and I certainly would not choose it again"

"This boutique hotel has it all. Centrally located. On a side street so very quiet. Modern. Large rooms. Nice breakfast. They even offer plant based milks. Taxis can take you to the door because you’re not in the pedestrians only zone. There is a spa but we didn’t have time to use."

"What an amazing place to stay, family run, very helpful, relaxed and friendly, the bed was so big and extremely comfortable, lovely breakfast and the owners have great taste in wine which is reasonably priced. The whole place is quirky and full of character, good taste and a sense of fun. There is something to be admired everywhere you look. The Vila is a very short Bolt ride into city 3-4 euros. I would stay again and highly recommend."
