We booked a massage service, and the price was very reasonable—600 baht for one hour of aromatherapy. The breakfast selection was plentiful, and since the town is halal, the hotel didn't offer pork for breakfast. The dining environment was very pleasant."

Overall, a calm and well-kept luxurious place, ideal if you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature."

"My wife and I stayed at Yao Bada Badoo for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. Our room was classy and beautifully appointed with high ceilings and modern fittings. The bathroom was a standout and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of. Our host Stacey and her staff went above and beyond in making our stay truly fantastic. The resorts location and proximity to beaches, activities, dining and the main pier is perfect. If you're looking for your oasis, this is it!! "

"A beautiful complex of nine very spacious villas surrounding a very large swimming pool. The villas are well-maintained, the bedding comfortable, and bottled water is plentiful. Each villa has two sun loungers with mattresses, and others are arranged around the pool. The garden is beautifully landscaped; a real kudos to the gardeners. For breakfast, you are asked the day before to choose from several sets, but since nothing suited us, we asked for what we wanted. The restaurant is very good and inexpensive—the best we ate at, and we tried quite a few! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the small road that separates the villas from the beach, which is quite busy. Furthermore, the beach isn't the most inviting, neither at high tide nor, even less so, at low tide. The price is also rather high for a small island, but these are the prices charged on all the Thai islands at the moment."

"The resort is very secluded, but surrounded by beautiful nature. You have to be aware that there's nothing within walking distance. It's a place to truly unwind. Our room was lovely, and the dogs and cat living there were incredibly cute and well-cared for. We were only moderately satisfied with the service, and the prices for the rather small portions were a bit steep. We booked a boat trip through the hotel and specifically asked if they could recommend something less touristy. Unfortunately, the trip turned out to be to several overcrowded, extremely touristy beaches—a real tourist trap. We were totally disappointed and found it a shame that Jayen Resort recommends and books such excursions. This mass tourism doesn't really fit with their "sustainability concept." I wouldn't recommend staying longer than two nights. Overall, it's a nice resort, but for us, the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right."
