I stayed in the garden view room for 10 days. There is a pretty good sea view through the trees, but you do have to climb up some fairly rickety stairs to get up there which won’t suit everyone.
PD is only 10 minutes from the pier, but it’s a very hilly journey and it does feel a bit remote, although Chalok beach is a rugged 20 minute walk and has shops, banks, restaurants.
The room did feel a bit overpriced as did the restaurant, but the food is all very decent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and contributed to a very pleasant stay.
Overall we had a very nice time but if I went back to Koh Tao I might have to stay somewhere more accessible, but if you want peace and quiet and you’re a confident bike rider or don’t mind a walk for getting around I would definitely recommend PD.

ロケーションが素晴らしいのと、スタッフのみんなが優しく暖かい。
だが、歯ブラシセットがないのと、タオルやベッドのシーツの交換がなかったのが残念だった。
それ以外はパーフェクト！癒される空間でした。

The personel/staff was outstanding friendly, helping wherever they can and very forthcomming. The view from the room is stunning. It is a quiet place with a beach infront, where the snorkling is great (we even saw a turtle!).
In 15 minutes you can get to Chalok baan kao bay where you find 7/11, pharmacy, massages, bars, restaurant, etc...

The the atmosphere is amazing, some things not the best but it’s good for a short trip, the beach is beautiful and the staff are very nice and love to help in anything you need.

A small local run operation which has great ocean view rooms. It is located away from the busy town area on a cliff at the southern part of the island. In front of it is a small sandy beach, great for snorkeling. Very peaceful and has beautiful sunset view. It has its own small restaurant, mainly common Thai dishes. There are nothing else in the near by area and you really need to have a car or a motorbike in order to go anywhere. Not suitable for walking. They have motorbikes for rent and can arrange ferry pier transfer. The room is basic and clean. The staff are all very friendly. Overall a nice place to stay if you prefer a quiet and laidback holiday.

No restaurant, pool, or coffee shop. All closed/Covid abandoned. The beach was lovely & quiet but we had to walk into town for any food. The hosts were nice but don’t stay here unless you’ve rented scooters (or are ok walking to find food or drink or everything else.)

Sehr zuvorkommendes und sehr freundliches Personal. Außerdem sehr hilfsbereit.
Die Lage ist schlecht und die gesamte Anlage ist nicht schön gestaltet.
Wir haben uns hier nicht wohlgefühlt.
Das Zimmer hingegen war sauber, jedoch hat die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert.
Die Roller sind zu teuer und auch nicht gut in Vergleich zu jeder anderen Unterkunft in der wir waren.
Der Strandabschnitt ist kurz und schön. Die Anlage ist leider nicht so schön anzusehen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt abgebrochen und sind abgereist.
Das Personal war jedoch wirklich toll und die verfrühte Abreise ist problemlos möglich gewesen, trotz Stornierung etc.

Prix exorbitant qui ne peut s'expliquer que par l'emplacement de cet établissement car à raison de 86€ la nuit je dois dire que nous nous attendions à autre chose. Ni plus ni moins un bungalow comme ceux que j'ai connus en venant en Thaïlande il y a 30 ans, si ce n'est que la climatisation a été installée depuis mais une moustiquaire en supplément n'aurait pas été du luxe compte tenu des espaces qu'il y a entre chaque lattes du plancher. La plage est superbe mais jonchée de détritus et au coucher du soleil les jets ski et bateaux de fêtards débarquent avec musique à fond. Vraiment très déçus et les photos sont trompeuses. Bungalows vieillissants qui pour moi ne valent pas plus de 30€ la nuit. Heureusement nous ne sommes là que pour 2 nuits....
