A quiet and cozy hotel, close to a big road but noise is never a problem, which is great. A small pool with a few tanning beds which is enough. The whole vibe feels chill, I'd stay here again.

Very unfriendly manager, the hotel staff never around and their bar seems to be permanently closed.

Staff were rude. Room had disgusting smell..when asked to give spray freshener the staff grumpy woman said I have to clean for you? Asked for towel change..gave smelly towel with air freshener spray in it. Room was advertised with balcony but apparently it didn't have balcony, it was a walkway lobby. Price too overpriced for the size of room but rude staff behaviour made it worse. Will never stay.

Nice quiet location only thing to keep awear the birds in the morning they make a right racket at 6.00 in the morning and doesn't stop till gone 10.00 /11.00 and also when in the room I noticed ant's one floor and bed and some time when in bed you can feel them on you so make sure to check everywhere.

The room was nice but a bit small. Need to walk a bit to reach the center.

Great stay, anna is lovely at the front desk, they were always very helpful, only downside is the bed was full of sand for some reason and i woke up for some reason with Many Sanfly bites. Otherwise, a great experience and i would return!

Great stay only a lot of mousquitos

I am a person who never writes bad reviews, but this time, the Araya Hotel forced me to write about this particularly bad accommodation experience. At that time, the order was placed through Ctrip, but because my boyfriend chose the wrong time, it was booked for 5 nights. When I checked in that night, I confirmed with the hotel front desk whether I could refund. The front desk clearly stated that I could only stay for one night and then check out and leave without charging any fees. It was also because of this reply that we checked out the next day and went to another hotel closer to the party. As a result, when I submitted the cancellation order on Ctrip, the problem came. Ctrip’s reply was that the order could not be cancelled and the original order would be retained. After continuous communication with Ctrip, Ctrip clearly stated that the hotel did not agree to cancel the subsequent orders. We had no choice but to choose to continue to live in Araya, after all, the money could not be refunded. But when we arrived in Araya, the hotel refused to let us check in again, saying that we had checked out and could not check in again. My boyfriend was directly blocked by the hotel owner when he negotiated with the hotel owner. He did not give any opportunity to communicate at all. And Ctrip also said in the communication that no one answered the hotel phone and could only send an email. But the email reply was that the order could not be cancelled, and no reason was given. This behavior, which is almost equivalent to robbery, is the first time I have encountered it in Thailand. It is also the first time that I feel that Ctrip has no supervision and coordination on foreign hotels. Writing this review is also a warning to those who will continue to stay in this hotel in the future. Be careful when booking overseas hotels on Ctrip. The risk of canceling hotel orders is very high. Not only will you lose money, but you can't stay. You can't complain to the hotel.

The hotel is located in a remote area. There is a swimming pool in the atrium. The room is small. The interior walls are not painted and the exposed cement is outside. It looks ugly and unclean. The window is close to the bed, a bit small and can't be opened. The lighting is not very good.
