The facilities are a bit dated, but that's par for the course for a beachfront hotel. They're well-maintained.
The highlight is the service! It was excellent, warm, and proactive, and all the staff were well-trained, even the security guards at the door.
The breakfast options at the restaurant weren't very varied, and after a long stay, I didn't know what to eat. However, the quality of the main meals is top-notch for Koh Chang, and well worth the price and quality.
All in all, this is a very, very, very worthwhile hotel to stay at.
I also want to mention that Ctrip proactively handled any issues I encountered, with a clear and effective approach, and we continue to support them.

We booked five nights, and my kids couldn't stop thinking about it after we got home, insisting I leave a review: The room was clean, and after daily housekeeping, they used essential oils for aromatherapy, which was delightful. Despite the many trees, there were no mosquitoes at night. Transportation was convenient, with a hotel shuttle bus running regularly to and from the 7-Eleven, about a 20-minute walk, and monkeys visible along the way. The hotel has a private beach with fine sand, so fine you can't even feel it under your bare feet. The body wash and shampoo smelled wonderful, with a hint of natural essential oils. The breakfast had a wide variety, and I never missed it, which made the kids even more eager to eat. The service was excellent, greeting everyone we met and communicating patiently, making us feel completely comfortable. The in-room pool was clean and clean, and we hardly saw any Indians in the hotel. My kids clamored to come back, and we look forward to our next visit!

We spent three wonderful days here.
The rooms with the pool on the balcony are really great.
Also, the fact that you can rent scooters directly from the hotel.
The service is really great.
The only thing is that the water pressure in the rooms is very inconsistent. This is a bit annoying when showering.
