"We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps."

"It was a very comfortable and relaxed hotel, especially the large balcony, which allowed a group of friends to have a casual chat. However, the beach is rather small, and the food is below the expected hotel standard. The staff was friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is fun for most tourists, and the lifeguard was very responsible all the way."

"Over 200, I'm so satisfied. I originally booked another hotel, but one day there were no rooms available. I decided to stay here for a short break, and I was pleasantly surprised. The white sand beach is right outside your doorstep, so you can hit the waves anytime. The sound of the ocean is right beside your ears. The ocean view restaurant is also great, with the wind chimes playing beautifully. It's so relaxing to relax on the beach, enjoying a drink and a bite to eat while feeling the sea breeze. The hotel is mostly occupied by Europeans and Americans. While it's not a luxury hotel, it has a very relaxing atmosphere. On the other side is the street, filled with small shops. There are 7-Elevens on both sides, so you can shop anytime. For those who aren't looking for a high-end experience, I highly recommend this hotel."

"Hotel was lovely, right on the beach and could to the local shops. We had a terrible issue with flies, and even though we ensured all the doors and windows remained closed, these tiny flies still appeared from the drains. We had to ask the staff to come every evening to help (which they did) but it wasn’t the best welcome back after a day out to have flies on all our personal belongings, especially when the main area was in the bathroom."

"This was my first visit to Koh Chang. The location is quite convenient and other amenities well prepared for single bed room. The food is good but the resturant is quite far from the hotel which means you have to ask a cart from place to place throung they have many project in one area. Staff was very helpful. I think it is worth money to stay here even if you want to go outside the hotel or not. Also the beach is very private and clean."

"The hotel area has a beautiful garden, the grounds are well taken care of, the pool is beautiful and clean, the breakfasts are excellent, the staff are friendly, a beautiful restaurant, if you want something cheaper, you can walk 10-15 minutes to more cheap places, a calm and quiet place for families, the entrance to the sea is in The area around the hotel is a bit rocky, but you can find a better place within a 5 minute walk. Но есть замечательный бассейн. Само место очень атмосферное и уединённое. Порой казалось что вы здесь абсолютно одни. Сам отель выдержан в своём неповторимом стиле, очень уютный и комфортный номер имеет всё необходимое, удобная кровать, аутентичная мебель, много освещения, в том числе и в санузле. Большой удобный балкон, хотелось бы видеть больше зелени с него, но пока мы там были видели , что они стараются и облагораживают территорию за причалом , на который выходил наш балкон. Хочется отметить завтраки, выбор не очень большой, но всё очень вкусное, а уж сервис просто на высоте. Единственное чего хотелось бы добавить это более разнообразного меню на ужин. Но при желании можно прогуляться в деревню, это займет минут 15-20, там есть тайские кафе и итальянская пиццерия, где готовят не только пиццу и пасту, но и супы и вторые блюда на итальянский манер. Так же хочется заметить что место достаточно уединённое и тук- туки туда не заезжают и если хочется выезжать на другие пляжи лучше брать на прокат байк или авто. В общем если вам нужен релакс , природа и умиротворение, то вам обязательно стоит хоть на несколько дней заглянуть сюда 😀. Мы точно вернёмся ."
