"This is the forth time I live at this hotel, I found the sofa inside the room is dirty, the room is very congest, you can't even open two luggage bags at one time. We live in the hotel for 12 days and did a lot of shopping. There is no place for us to put our belongings and the sofa can hardly accommodate for two persons at one time. We are elderly of almost 70s both, we sometimes need comfortable chairs to take a rest in the room. Only one person can sit on the sofa all the time as our luggage bags were there. We feel a little disappinted with the room arrangement this time as the sofa too small and room very crowded with two beds. Moreover, the bed too soft which makes our back so painful. The last two days we felt really suffering."

"Location was in heart of Shinjuku, however it is still quite a walk to the station. That said , Shinjuku station is very big. The room is not that spacious, but given Tokyo hotels are v small, the size is quite ok, there was a small table and chair cosy enough for 2 people. Small space to open luggage and walk around but it's ok. Need to check in ourselves which was not so convient. Check in at 11 and they gave us a room which was readily available and we appreciated that very much ."

"Excellent stay, truly embodying the quality one would expect from a well-established hotel. Check-in at the front desk was a bit slow. Apparently, check-in for this room type should be handled upstairs, which wasn't clearly stated in the room description. It seems the hotel doesn't fully update its listings on platforms like Ctrip. Several value-added services weren't mentioned, and I would have completely missed them if I hadn't bothered to check their official website. Allow me to list some of these perks: My room, which I believe was a deluxe category, included complimentary access to the gym, swimming pool (complete with a massage hot spring pool and sauna, offering free temporary swimwear and towels), a natural hot spring bath, and bowling alley privileges. Upon check-in, I also received a voucher for a complimentary drink at any of the hotel's restaurants/bars. The in-room bathtub is a jet-massage tub featuring a 'wave' function. They also provided two complimentary skincare sets, each containing four single-use sachets of what appeared to be La Mer co-branded makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. (I'm not entirely certain it was a direct La Mer collaboration, but the sachets did bear the 'LAMER' logo. If it was, this hotel ranks second in terms of high-end skincare amenities I've received; the first place goes to a hotel that provided CPB eye cream samples along with a deluxe travel set of their toner, emulsion, and essence.) Finally, the location is excellent. I was able to comfortably walk to Ginza from the hotel."

"The hotel has a classic, old-money vibe. During the off-season, the rates are quite reasonable, and all the amenities are excellent. However, there's one crucial thing to be aware of: during check-in, the front desk will ask if you prefer the main building or the tall building, even if you've already booked the latter. Unknowing guests might assume they have a choice. If you opt for the main building, you'll likely have to pay an additional fee (some online reviewers even reported being charged an extra ¥100,000), but the staff won't volunteer this information unless you specifically ask. Therefore, if you've only booked the most affordable room in the tall building, like I did, it's best not to agree to an 'upgrade.' Overall, the service was quite good. Since there's a connecting passage between the tall building and the main building, which might be tricky for first-time visitors to navigate, someone will escort you to your room. This was a nice touch."

"Staying for five days four night. Hotel a bit far from the subway, walking about 10mins from hotel to the subways. Tried to buy one day breakfast but the breakfast is not nice and very few choices. The place is very quiet but don’t have night life because living far from the food street"

"My company manufactures thermocouples and thermistors, and I came here for an exhibition hoping to promote our products. Unfortunately, we only had three customers visit us for inquiries over three days. So much for that – I guess we won't be counting on the Japanese market for business anymore. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. If you walk in the opposite direction, you'll reach Ariake Garden. There's an Aeon supermarket on the ground floor. Both directions are roughly a 15-minute walk. There are various large food courts nearby, making it quite convenient for dining. I didn't want the hassle of switching hotels midway through my trip, so I ended up staying for five consecutive nights. The hotel offers fully self-service check-in. I didn't request daily housekeeping during my stay, but cleaning became mandatory by the third day. The cleaning staff member who came was very efficient and quick, which was great."

"As a solo traveler, this was an excellent hotel with everything you could ask for. The night I arrived, I was completely lost so the lady at the front desk printed a map out for me and showed me where I could get a SIM card and exchange currency nearby. That really helped. They provided all of the necessary amenities and the room was very clean. The only knock I had was breakfast was the same everyday and not much to it. But the hotel is right next to the metro and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommended this hotel, in a quiet part of the city."

"The hotel is new and immaculately clean. The location is superb; right downstairs, you'll find numerous excellent restaurants and large shopping malls. It's situated in the heart of the most vibrant area and is directly connected to Shibuya Scramble Square. Overall, it offers great value for money for a charming boutique hotel."

"Our impression of Tokyo hotels was that they would be extremely small (past 2 trips were really small rooms), but the residential room in this hotel was big! We were deciding between Hyatt Regency in Yokohama and this one, but we ultimately chose this one despite paying more for the centralised location and the fact that there was a washing machine in the room too (free laundry!). This is literally only 3 mins walk away from Shinjuku-Higashi station which is linked to the Oedo and Fukutoshin line so it is fairly convenient to get to most major places in Tokyo. It is also situated in Shinjuku, but not in the heart of the district so it's not noisy and crowded with tourists at all. The hotel doesn't have a gym, but if you have an Anytime Fitness membership, they have one decent outlet just opposite the road. There are 2 convenient stores (Lawson and Family Mart) very near the hotel too, and a MacDonalds too. We got the highest possible floor (the highest one being the terrace room) for our room type and we had a nice window view overlooking the street down below. The bed was comfortable, but the toilet was a bit small (the usual for Japanese hotels). Highly recommended if you are looking to stay near to major Tokyo locations but also value your peace and quiet."
