Kusano Inn Kitakami - Adults Only ★★★
"i had a pleasant stay here. I wasnt able to try the oublic bath so i cant comment about it. but my stay there was comfortable. its near station and convenient stores."
ANA Holiday Inn Iwate Kitakami by IHG ★★★
"The location is great. The view from the room is endless and you can see the whole north."
Montein Hotel ★★★
"The best thing about this hotel is that check-out is at 11am and you can get draft beer! Enjoying takeout dinner and a beer in my room is a really relaxing time for me. Is it just me, or does the bathroom seem larger than other hotels? The front desk staff are also very kind, making this one of my favorite hotels."
Toyoko Inn Kitakami Eki Shinkansen Guchi ★★★
"Good points: The staff are polite. Free curry rice at night. You can take as many amenities as you like. Bad points: The walls are thin, and you can hear voices, coughs, and sounds of daily life like hair dryers from the next room. The worst is snoring. If you get unlucky with the next room, you won't be able to sleep at night."
Semi Onsen ★★★
"Shoes were taken off at the door and the hotel has a policy of ‘socks or bare feet’, which was fine by us. Socks were supplied in the room, if you didn’t want to wear your own. The hotel is a bit of a maze but we were guided personally to our rooms, and staff made sure that we had everything that we needed. The room was a new experience for us, with tatami mats set up with a table and chairs when we arrived and then converted for sleeping with futon mattresses. Unfortunately, I’m rather taller than your average ryokan guest and so spilled over the edges of the mattress. The small pillows (filled with buckwheat?) were also a bit of a challenge. Facilities in the room include a sink and a toilet but no shower. This is zero problem because there is a huge choice of different onsens, all of which are excellent. Traditional dinners and breakfasts were served in the dining room; huge feasts of small dishes, all beautifully presented. I suspect that I made many gaffs in the manner in which I ate everything but I thoroughly enjoyed it all. We also very much enjoyed the cultural dance show, and making use of the karaoke room! Thank you to all the staff who made us all feel so special and introduced us (gently) to the ryokan concept."
Comfort Hotel Kitakami ★★★
"The value for money was excellent in every way. It's right in front of the station, there's a convenience store next door, and parking is free. The process was easy and very convenient. However, the breakfast arrangement? First, there's soup, then side dishes, and then rice. Is the rice mixed grain rice, which is good for women? I prefer plain white rice. It's a bit disappointing. Also, it would have been nice if there were trays or trays, but it seems like no one used them. The flow of traffic wasn't smooth, so everyone was busy. I wish they had considered this a bit."
Kusano Hotel ★★★
"I've stayed here before, but it's been a while since my last stay due to a business trip. The room wasn't small and the bedside was spacious, so I was able to rest comfortably. The breakfast buffet had just the right amount of menu items, not too many, but if I had to say something, it was disappointing that my favorite curry wasn't available. The large public bath on the top floor was also neat and comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed it both in the evening and in the morning. I was also happy to have a free massage chair. It's good value for money, so I'd like to stay again."
Yumoto Azumakan ★★
"Suijin Onsen Yumoto Higashikan. This is the only inn in Suijin Onsen, and I used it for a day trip. The bathing fee is 400 yen for the indoor bath only. The hot spring water flows freely from a round rock spout. It is a little hot and has a slight egg-like taste. There is a plentiful supply of water, and it flows directly from the source. It's a great hot spring."
Hotel Route-Inn Kitakami Ekimae ★★★
"The location is great and the breakfast was good for the price."

Flower Hotel
"That was great."
Motoyu Geto
"It truly was a hidden hot spring. The room didn't have air conditioning, and there wasn't a bidet toilet; the whole place was old, but the hot spring water bubbling up directly from the ground gave a sense of centuries of history. It smelled of sulfur, and my skin felt incredibly smooth; it was a wonderful hot spring. The night sky was amazing; I could even see the autumn Milky Way."
