"Stopped off for lunch today. It was very busy with Xmas parties by the looks of it but squeezed us in. We chose 2 courses off Xmas menu which was very good value for money @ £23.95 each. Food was very good -and hot, - turkey , stuffing, pigs in blankets, mash potato, roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, red cabbage, Brussel sprouts, corn, sugar snap/beans? Deserts - Christmas pudding and brandy sauce for hubby and I had espresso martini cheesecake which was delicious. I highly recommend this establishment and we will certainly visit again. Thank you for serving quality food."

"I’ve been twice recently and have felt that the bar/waitress are very rude with the way they do the tables .and we were in the way . They said we sit anywhere but then as soon you go anywhere near the windows they decided first time it booked but no reserve sign on. We just sat elsewhere as my mum was shouting lunch , we very pressure by waitresses to order more than what we wanted and rush out of door because we didn’t want order anymore. We only there a hour 1/2 , but second time was even worse I was meeting someone for the first time and order drinks but felt like we been pressured to order a second drinks or food . We were interrupted rudely four times , they basically said we had to move because someone sit at our table in minute even though they said sit anywhere on arrival? We went moved to another seat after asking where can we go seat to finish our conversation then they said have you booked ?? You asked us to moved !! pouring down with rain outside we sat down where seem to be convenient for them . We trying to decide wether we eating or getting another drink when they came over again !!! Are you eating or order a drink or not.. I can’t believe this rudeness of few staff and never felt more pressure in a pub/ restaurant, we there less than a hour before they carry on like this , we left because I felt we were unwelcome . Not a nice experience and it happens twice so won’t be returning as not polite staff and pressure sales on food and drinks ."
