"The hotel is run by a family, so they are not very professional in terms of having a proper receptionist who can communicate and also they close the desk by 10 30pm which they didn’t inform us. I understand it’s a cheap hotel, but what exactly are we paying for? Even the bathroom had older customer’s used soaps lying around. The trip.com filter said it had AC but it didn’t, the lights barely work. We were two people, only got one towel. The towels also felt dirty. Drinking water and toiletries not provided, just one teeny tiny soap to get by. They didn’t even help take our suitcases upstairs . So many more complaints. Highly not recommended."

"I want to inform the hotel manager or owner about my recent experience at your establishment. Our family group booked three rooms on March 21, 2025. While the check-in process was impressive, we had a very unpleasant experience that night. We were kept awake all night by loud people in the garden below. There were two Nepali men and two foreign girls who appeared to be drunk, talking and laughing loudly and playing music from their phones. I went to the reception around 4 am to complain, and Mr. …, the night in-charge, simply replied, "This is how it is, sir." When I inquired if they were hotel guests, I was told, "No, they are just outsiders who came for drinks at midnight." I was dissatisfied with his attitude and response, so I decided to speak with the manager in the morning. We chose to check out early and went to the reception around 7 am, requested the manager, and explained everything while settling our bills. The manager did not handle the situation appropriately and didn’t even apologize. Instead of seeking more details about my dissatisfaction, he seemed to disregard it, which was very disappointing. I felt that the staff lacked the necessary knowledge and training, which needs to be addressed immediately, including the front office manager, or else you risk losing guests and business. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay at Tuki Resort; there are many better hotels in Pokhara that provide excellent hospitality. Hari Acharya Kathmandu"

"The staffs are very nice, but the hotel itself is not very good. It’s very close to the main road and it’s very noisy at night time which made me couldn’t sleep well. Also, the equipments are old and dirty. There were bugs in the bathroom and the sheets and quilt were dirty and broken. It’s really not a good choice to stay."

"We had booked lake view room, was given a room that wasn’t lake view. Then they made excuses like it was partial lake view, then said booking number is different, finally they said they would change the room but they can’t because we used the room. A/C remote was broken on first day, but they fixed it immediately. There was no hot water on the last day in the morning, came back much later but it was too late for taking any shower before checkout. Room service food was horrible, burnt paneer and biriyani full of bones and fat. We could only eat part of it. The only good thing I would say is that the staff is well behaved and the breakfast was really good. But this is not the experience I was expecting from a 4* hotel. And it wasn’t even the busy tourist season. I would recommend to avoid this place."

"Staying at "Mystique Highland Resort" was truly the highlight of my time in Nepal. This place is magical, the views to the majestic Himalayan mountains are spectacular from the verandahs & garden which you are immersed in when staying there. The guesthouse is a charming 3 story building with the sweeping wide vernadah off every room all with views across the country side lush & green. The family that hosted us were magnificent also ... so kind & caring & authentic in their way of life. I felt like we were part of the family & the garden & the village. The rooms are spotless, simple & gracious all with ensuites & hot water showers.The bed was very comfy & all linen perfect, warm & cosy. I could have stayed another month & highly recommend this special place to anyone who finds themselves in Pokhara."
