CHC Sound of the Sea
"Picturesque and quite location. Spacious and clean rooms, but the hotel needs partial renovation and richer breakfast choices to support the relatively high accommodation prices. The personnel (Stella, Giorgos) is excellent, very friendly and helpful!"
Aegean Village Beachfront Resort
"The Aegean Village has a truly exceptional team of people at its service. I've never seen such warm and friendly hosts anywhere else in the world, and the internationality was also great for me. Of course, I can't name them all, but Yannis and Elaria at reception, who offered me exceptional service (e.g., returning the rental keys to the reception without any problems and picking up the car), or Lucas and Aneta at the bar, who treated us daily to excellent, varied cocktails, or Christos, who served us a meal in the evening that was second to none :) Simply wonderful people who love their jobs, and you can tell and feel it. The hotel is beautifully situated, the facilities are very good, and we had a magnificent room with a jacuzzi and panoramic terrace overlooking the beautiful bay of Amoopi. I can absolutely recommend the hotel :)"
Irini Hotel
"Generally we would rank the hotel as average. Some good points and some less. The good points: • The hotel location: right next to a very calm beach with crystal clear water and very good for a swim. In a peaceful area with almost no other hotel in sight. The proximity to the airport (3 minutes’ drive) and the free shuttle service is also an important benefit. • The pool is nice and the hotels provides good pool towels for free • The food served on breakfast and dinner (buffet style) is basic but OK. The variety could improve but we understand the problem of running a relatively small hotel that cannot offer a large variety of different choices. However we would advise the holet to change the menu more frequently. You keep getting the same salads and main courses over and over every other day. We usually do not book half board but we would recommend it after all in this hotel, because of the lack of alternatives in walking distances from the hotel. • The Service: Irini hotel is in between a family run hotel and a commercial large hotel. On one hand the front desk clerk was very helpful and helped us to find and call a rental car company when we arrived, the restaurant stuff were very friendly, and you see the owners (and their sweet dog) around smiling to the guests, but on the other hand the hotel lacks the personal intimate connection we usually experienced in other family run hotels we visited in the past. The only time the owner came to talk to us was when we left the hotel back to the airport. The less good points: • Price and Room type: as we reserved a “see view room” we were a little disappointed that we received a room not fronting the beach but in the back of the hotel with view of mainly other buildings, trees, pool, restaurant etc. and only on the horizon the beach. This is not the regular definition of “see view room” and the hotel should know that providing such a room that does not match its name, damages the satisfaction of the clients. On top of it the room is basic, and the sower is very small. Relative to the value of the room (and food) you get, the price we paid for the room is expensive (around 150€ per day), comparing other hotels we’ve been to in Greece • Maintenance of the hotel: the room was cleaned very well almost every day (not on Sunday), but the toiletries were provided in a randomized order. Luckily we brought some soap and shampoo with us. In addition there is no check that all is working properly in the room: For example our main room light was not working during all week we stayed in the hotel (We didn’t really need it and decided not to ask for it to be fixed during our stay, but still…). The same with the safe deposit that was locked when we entered the room (probably due to a former guest) and no one made sure it was opened when we checked in. Also the balcony had just one chair (and the same balcony of the room next door had 3 chairs…) • Wifi: though there is a wifi all around the hotel, the connect"
Bluu Bahari Hotel
"We stayed at Bluu Bahari for a week in mid-June, we had a great time! The owners and all the staff are always kind and available to satisfy any need! It's a shame that the great, high-level Saverio Scef arrived on the last days of our holiday but nevertheless we managed to enjoy his delicious dishes! We will definitely be back! Thanks Ps. spectacular sunsets!"
Cavo Marelia
"Very nice, clean rooms. Great views, no swimming pool but less then 5 minute walk from sand beach. Good breakfast but could use some more variation. Had a great holiday Close to lots of authentic restaurants (calypso is the best) and beaches. Nice morning walks and swimming in the calm bleu sea."
Lemon Tree House
"Expecting much more for the money we paid; no shower gel available in the bathroom. Room was small with a small balcony looking at a narrow dead end street.Breakfast was basic;no fresh orange juice provided and little variety of fruit and vegetables. There was no wi-fi connection in the room though it was included in the amenities. Narrow staircase leading to the rooms and no elevator for those carrying heavy luggage. Hotel is located in the heart of Pigadia but parking nearby is another issue as the roads around it are very narrow."
Althea Boutique Hotel - Adults Only
"The hotel is impeccable and everyone who works there was so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and the beaches nearby are excellent and just a short walk away. Maria, the owner, was so helpful and caring — I was under the weather and she arranged for her personal doctor to meet with us on short notice and then days later we had another minor medical issue and Maria made calls to get us the attention we needed. Maria and her staff's care and attention as well as the gorgeous hotel made this an incredible stay."
Seven Stars
"Nice hotel with clean rooms. Very convenient for exploring the island and has free parking. A 5-minute walk takes you to the center of Pigadia, full of bars, restaurants, and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay, and a really nice thing was that they had a super cute cat who was eager to be petted by everyone. The only downside was the breakfast, which was a bit limited; they didn't even have croissants."

"Stunning location and structure: a dream and relaxing experience thanks to the impeccable and tailor made service of all the exceptional Crew working here: Zoe and Giannis at the reception and the super restaurant Team made by Christina, George, Panagiotis and Valeria! Here you really experience being part of a Family thanks to the exceptional care and attention!"
Arkasa Palace
"We spent one week in the private Aphrodite villa with private pool. Maria, her Mom and the entire team were incredible. We were completely relaxed right from the beginning. The hotel has an outstanding service, the sea view is incredible. The whole place is so cozy and heart worming. Maria has created a wonderful stylish environment. The villa itself is offering a private atmosphere and we really enjoyed the little pool very much. The room, the terrace and the pool were cleaned every day it is in real proper condition. Being on holiday you can ignore a cracked mirror (will be fixed soon). The room provides a small kitchen, which we just have used in the morning to prepare a cup of coffee. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the early morning on the terrace with the unbelievable Aegean Sea view is just unreal. Maria is an incredible host and always there for her guests. The beautiful St. Nicolas beach is just a ten minutes walk from there. Wonderful Restaurants could be reached in just five minutes. Our favorite one was the Kipos Taverne, a cozy little restaurant with a well dedicate Team and an excellent chef, providing authentic greek cuisine. We have booked the accommodation including breakfast. The breakfast was a daily feast. Variations of eggs (omelette, cooked or fried) have been offered as well as fresh fruits, traditional Greek yogurt with honey and fruits, veggies from the family garden and bread with homemade marmalade. Pancakes where available too. It was just amazing."
Almi Luxury Rooms
"We are staying 12 days. Food and rooms are wonderful. Service at the restaurant and housekeeping- impeccable. A very negative experience at the beach has very much tainted our trip. We feel unwelcome. We were told at check in we had an assigned pair of beach chairs, but if we wanted we could pick a beach chair, whichever worked for us. It would be assigned for our stay. That evening we went for our swim and next to our assigned chairs was a very intoxicated person. The next day we requested a chair in the middle of the hotel chair area, far from the original seats. The guy at the beach said ok but to be prepared to leave at any time if other guests come. We complied with this. This morning he raised his voice at me and my son when I requested to take more central chairs. He non stop kept interrupting me. I tried to explain we didn’t mind not being in the first row, we would take any chairs- we just wanted to be in the middle of hotel guests. When I explained what I was told at check in, he responded “I don’t care”, and proceeded to interrupt again and raise his voice. Instead of simply asking the check in person or a manager for help. I understand his work may be difficult, and maybe we were misinformed- but the way he responded to a request was incredibly unprofessional. If I had been one of the big 1.85m men in my family, I doubt he would have spoken to me this way. Instead he terrified my little kid. I had to ask him to lower his voice and be polite in front of my son. Even worse- after we went to the beach chairs he told us to take, he came back and said we were in the wrong chairs again. Then he proceeded to tell us he is the boss of the chairs and he decides so he doesn’t need to discuss anything with anyone. In many other places, this man would not have been tolerated a day. Worst beach experience. I tried to find a manager to discuss this with. Spoke to two different employees, while requesting a manager, and they both insisted he is the reference for beach chairs and we have to comply. For the price you can have a much better experience in a Greek beach resort. Especially given the time one spends at the beach. Sadly everything else is wonderful. Especially the chef at the restaurant is up to par with 5-star resort chefs. That said, having stayed in beach resorts in Asia, Hawaii, Cali, all over Europe, this is by far the worst beach experience."
Atlantis Hotel
"The accommodation is ideal for families. It is in front of the harbor and has a wonderful view. I traveled with my family, the room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We will definitely go back in the future"
Poseidon Blue Gastronomy Hotel
"My room was really nice with a great view over the sea. The staff was very friendly and competent, and the food was delicious. I have always wanted to go to Greece on a beach holiday and this hotel was all I dreamed for. I can only recommend staying here"
Hotel Finiki View
"The kindest and warmest old Greek couple run this cozy, relaxed and comfortable hotel. Its rooms are clean, airy and authentic. The hosts answer to your every need with a smile and great enthusiasm. Maria and Panagiotis are both so friendly and make you feel at home instantly. "
