Skylark Hotel ★★★★
"Good location, good service"
Africa Safari Karatu ★★★★
"We had a really nice stay! The staff was really friendly and they prepared vegetarian lunch boxes for us! I had the chance to go swimming early in the morning in the pool with a stunning view!We had a really nice time! "
Turaco Ngorongoro Valley, a Tribute Portfolio Lodge ★★★★★
"This hotel was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. Our group of 10 extended family members (ages 2-72) were happily surprised by the beautiful grounds, rooms, pool, bars, and nightly entertainment. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly, especially Neema, the manager. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious, with whirlpool tubs to relax in after a day on safari. Very close to Ngorongo park. Tanzania Specialists tour company booked this hotel for us and it was perfect! The nightly music, acrobatics, and Maasai cultural experience were fun and interesting, too."
Omega View Hotel & Resort ★★★★
"Due to a big goof-up by our travel agent, we had to spend a night at Karatu, just outside the Ngorongoro conservation area and we picked Omegaview that same morning we were due to check in as it had availability. The hotel comes at a price way cheaper than the luxury camps or lodges and so obviously, its facilities are more basic. The staff tried very hard to please us and even made dishes which we requested when we found the buffet did not have much for vegetarians. The hotel is decent and provides value for money,"
Karatu Tented Lodge ★★★★
"Perfect location, the staff are the most friendly people we have ever found in a hotel. Amazing. Highly recommendable."
Ngorongoro Haven Inn & Safari Stride ★
Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge ★★★★
"My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had an amazing experience. The hotel is safe and clean, the views are incredible, and the service was great. We especially loved the entertainment. An acrobatics group performed for our group and they were incredible! I was a cheerleader for the Utah Jazz and these guys were professionals. They even let me do some stunts with them. I highly recommend this hotel for a great experience."
Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment
Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge ★★★★
"The hotel is lovely as well as the view of the pool and the lake from my room. The best part for me was the Serena Experience Journey 2 hour scrub, massage, and facial at the spa with Christina! Exceptional and well priced. Nice to have a little luxury after a few weeks in the bush!"

She was very caring and ready to help us with our requests. Thank you all very much and keep up the sterling work. Family, Malta - August 2026"
Wellworth Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge
"A beautiful property with large rooms and gorgeous views of the valley and lake. This room 119 was a distance away from the main area but it was a nice walk, one can opt for a golf cart to pick you up. Being greeted by the singing Masai ladies was so lovely! The staff are very friendly and helpful, eager to please and some are young and being mentored by the senior staff. Thank you Naeema and Ana, and to our escorts who waited in the cold yo guide us back to the room! The one feedback we must bring upshot the government must address are the roads leading up to the hotel, it's one of the bumpiest rides we've had. If you have a bad back it is a bad experience."
Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge
"We had an incredible experience staying at Neptune. The hotel was exceptionally hospitable, and we were looked after superbly throughout our stay. The staff were outstanding—especially Norbert, who was always on hand for anything we needed; John, who arranged a wonderful private dinner for my wife and me; and our driver, Samuel, who took great care of us"
The Manor at Ngorongoro
"Everyone was so nice! The room was old and the sheets were damp, and didn’t have any plugs in the restroom. So beautiful outside! The grounds are gorgeous!"
