Cozy room with great view!!! Beyond expectation.

I was touring Karatsu Holy Land with two friends and found this B&B. The location is good. A taxi to Karatsu Station costs about 1,000 yen and takes about 5 minutes. It only takes 20 minutes to walk, which is very convenient. The Japanese-style triple room booked by three people is on the second floor, facing the sea and can watch the sunset, which is very beautiful. Although the staff at the B&B speak only average English, they are also very enthusiastic and make thoughtful arrangements. You will come in advance to ask about the time for breakfast and bathing. The breakfast is quite rich. At first we thought the bath was a hot spring, but it was actually a bathtub and two showers. Since the toilet in the room was very small, it was actually necessary for us to book a bath room. The hotel also has a bicycle rental service, which seems to be about 500 yen. We were in a hurry, so we didn't rent one, but the price was quite reasonable. Generally speaking, except for the relatively small bathroom, everything else is good and the price/performance ratio is very high.

The room is very clean, a very traditional Japanese tatami room. The window of the room can see the broad river scenery outside. It is very relaxing and makes people feel at ease and relaxed when staying there.

The hotel is not far from Karatsu Castle, just a few minutes' walk away. You can also take the bus (East Course) from Karatsu Station, which takes about 8 minutes. (It takes more than 20 minutes to walk). The service staff at the hotel were very nice, and the breakfast was very attentive. It tasted good, but I felt embarrassed that it was a bit too much and I couldn't finish it. I was also given two drink coupons when I checked in. After being tired from shopping outside, I came back to the hotel and drank carefully prepared drinks. I felt very happy. There are two flaws. 1. There are not many places to eat around. If you want more choices, go to the commercial streets around Dangjin Station. 2. The washing machine and dryer are not easy to use. After drying for 2 hours, there is no difference as if the water has just been dehydrated. Maybe the machine is too old.

An on-site staff will let you choose the welcome drink and also ask if you want to use the family bath that night. You can use it for one hour each session until 10 p.m. The bathroom in the room was a bit small, so I asked if I wanted to use a family bath. The brightness of the lights has many levels of adjustment, and the air conditioner has plenty of warm air. There are not enough electric sockets, but there are power cords attached. If there are 4 sockets, it will be enough. There is no Japanese phone number to ask the staff to help call a taxi, they are very friendly and willing to help. With extra breakfast, you can eat while looking at Karatsu Castle. The scenery is very beautiful.
