I stumbled upon this hotel on Xiaohongshu just before my business trip to Baghdad. The hotel offers an airport pick-up service, and their own vehicle was spotlessly clean. The driver, a local, was incredibly polite and chatty, sharing many fascinating stories about the area during the journey. The rooms are generously sized, easily accommodating a family of three, and were very quiet, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The complimentary welcome fruit platter was exceptionally fresh, with sweet, delicious fruits. All three meals are served buffet-style, and as someone who works abroad for long periods, it was a real treat to find authentic Chinese food here. The hotel also features a tea lounge on the ground floor. It was quite interesting to unwind there with a cup of tea after meals, while watching others work out. From check-in to check-out, the overall service and experience were exceptional. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

I was in Baghdad for a business trip. On the evening I checked in, my schedule unexpectedly changed, leaving me with a free day the next day. Knowing Baghdad has many famous attractions, but having done no prior research and not speaking the local language, I decided to try my luck and contacted the hotel manager to explain my needs. To my surprise, the hotel not only offered car rental services (with SUV and commercial van options) but, within a short while, also connected me with Ali, a local guide who spoke excellent English. Both the car rental and guide fees were very reasonable, quite unlike the exorbitant prices I'd seen through other channels. The next day, I directly explored Baghdad's Old City and the ruins of Babylon. The entire experience was incredibly smooth; the driver was exceptionally careful, and the guide provided a wealth of historical insights. By the time I got back to the hotel, it was already past 3 PM. When the hotel manager learned I hadn't had lunch yet, he thoughtfully arranged for the kitchen to freshly prepare a serving of handmade noodles with two small cold dishes. It was incredibly authentic and absolutely delicious. This hotel truly left me with a wonderful and unforgettable impression of Baghdad.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I last stayed here for one night on a business trip in June. The food and accommodation were excellent, so I decided to stay here again this time. Upon arriving that afternoon, I happened to run into the same Chinese manager from last time in the lobby. He assisted with the check-in process very quickly and even thoughtfully put a protective sleeve on my passport. Upon entering the room, I noticed the manager had already arranged for a full bottle of mineral water for me (I had been more of a water drinker last time, so I requested a few extra bottles). I was pleasantly surprised that he remembered my needs. I'm so pleased. The room cleanliness and food were just as good as before. The buffet had a wider selection, and the public area even added two fitness machines—very nice!

Facilities: New hotel, nice environment, complete amenities. Cleanliness: Very clean, excellent stay. Nearby: Bustling, close to the Chinese Embassy. Service: Excellent service, the local front desk lady spoke excellent English, making communication seamless. A waiter assisted with luggage. A welcome fruit plate was also provided, and the fruits were very sweet. Food: All three meals were well-chosen, featuring all-you-can-eat options (presumably the hotel invested heavily in the ingredients). The food was delicious, the restaurant was pleasant, and the dining room was always busy. Highly recommended. The food, accommodation, and service were excellent, just like in China.

Due to work reasons, I often go back and forth to Baghdad, and I have long stopped expecting too much from the hotels here - either the room is too small, or the food is not to my taste, and the service is even more uneven. Before this business trip, I accidentally discovered the newly launched TAJ Crown Hotel on Ctrip, and booked it with a "try it out" mentality. Unexpectedly, it became the most comfortable stay I have ever had in Baghdad! The hotel lobby is not spacious, but the decoration style is modern. As soon as you enter the door, you are surrounded by elegant fragrance, which instantly relieves the fatigue of the long-distance flight. The front desk guy speaks fluent English, and the check-in is efficient and smooth, without repeated communication. What's more considerate is that an older local porter took the initiative to help carry the luggage and led me all the way to the room, warm and thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I pushed the door open - the room layout is reasonable, with an area of about 40㎡, which is definitely a "luxury-level" space in Baghdad. The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and it was cool and comfortable as soon as I entered the room. The bedding is delicate and the mattress is moderately soft and hard. For people who travel for business all year round, being able to sleep well is more important than anything else. What touched me most was the large desk (many domestic hotels have shrunk now), with welcome fruits and welcome letters, the rigid needs of business people were accurately grasped! Less than 10 minutes after checking in, a Chinese manager came to greet me, added WeChat and said that he could contact me at any time - this proactive service awareness is rare in overseas hotels. Whether it was consulting travel suggestions or simply chatting, the replies were quick and friendly, and I had the illusion of "living in a high-end domestic hotel". Due to the itinerary, I only experienced dinner and breakfast, but the richness of the dishes was satisfactory and the taste was authentic (finally I didn't have to rely on instant noodles to survive). It is lucky to encounter such a hotel in Baghdad - spacious space, delicate service, catering counterparts, and even more attention to details than domestic hotels of the same price. TAJ Crown Hotel made me feel like "returning home".

I chose this hotel on a business trip to Baghdad. It is highly recommended. It was newly opened in 2025. The environment is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are also very professional and friendly. If you need to communicate directly with the front desk, there are Chinese-speaking staff. The restaurant is also very good, with Chinese and Arabic buffets, which are particularly rich and authentic. It is the best hotel I have stayed in Iraq.

A great hotel for business trips. The Chinese stomach is very satisfied, and you can eat all kinds of food while on a business trip. You can see that the hotel restaurant has put a lot of thought into the menu. Moreover, the newly renovated hotel has a modern and brand new decoration, and there is also 24-hour security, so you can sleep peacefully all night. The hotel manager is a Chinese big brother, the communication is very smooth, the response is timely, and he helped us a lot during our stay and provided a lot of convenience. It feels like home, highly recommended!
