"Every time I visit Shishikui, I've longed to stay at this pension. The sound of the ocean waves crashing from my room is a wonderful feeling. Unfortunately, my check-in time was a little late, meaning I didn't have much time to enjoy the ocean, but I was happy that I could still see it from the chilly terrace. I'm sure it would be even more relaxing in the summer. Everything you need is provided. In the colder months, you can warm your futon with an electric blanket. In addition to air conditioning, there's also a gas stove, so it's not too cold. Waking up in the morning with the ocean right in front of you is so captivating. Walking along the beach and watching the ocean water flowing in front of you is so relaxing. The rocks along the coast here are large and impressive. Breakfast is served elegantly in the dining area next to the beach, overlooking the ocean. The American-style breakfast was delicious. If you'd like a cake set for tea time, be sure to request it when you make your reservation; they'll apparently provide it."

"Although the facilities are a bit dated, all rooms face the sea, so the ocean view from the balcony is fantastic. The meals are also decent. It is a very satisfying hotel for the price. The only downside is the poor transportation; if you have a car and are on your way to Kochi, you can stay for a day or visit the hot springs for a day trip. Our family of three was very satisfied, and the staff were all friendly. During the Tokushima Awa Odori festival, you can also enjoy a simple but enjoyable performance in the hotel lobby. I went without high expectations but was very satisfied, and the hot spring water is especially good. It was the most memorable hotel during our three-week trip to Shikoku. You will hardly see any foreign tourists. I recommend this hotel to travelers who enjoy a local vibe."

"This is my first time staying in a B&B since my trip to Japan. The experience was great! The B&B is very close to Awa Kainan Station, and it is very convenient to walk there. There are large supermarkets and drug stores nearby. Awa Kainan Cultural Village and the Seaside Quasi-National Park are both within walking distance. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The room has a toilet and a washbasin, and the shower room is on the first floor, which is also very clean and hygienic. The kitchen is fully equipped and can be used if needed. The Japanese breakfast is simple and hygienic. The owner is very warm and kind. The only thing is that you have to check in at 4 o'clock, and you need to call to store your luggage.
