The DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru boasts a very centralized location, which is a significant plus for exploring the city. Its proximity to key areas makes it a convenient base for both business and leisure travelers.
The rooms were clean and well organized, providing a comfortable and tidy space to relax after a day out.
The breakfast spread was huge, offering a wide array of choices. While wouldn't say every dish was fantastic, the sheer variety meant there was always something to suit different tastes and preferences. You certainly won't go hungry!
A highlight of my stay was the staff, who were very welcoming and helpful. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist truly enhanced the experience. It's always a pleasure to encounter attentive service.
One important point for drivers to note, however, is the ongoing construction of the New RTS line. This has made navigating the roads around the hotel quite challenging, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. Expect some detours and potentially longer travel times if you're driving yourself.
Overall, DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru offers a comfortable stay with a great location, clean rooms, and attentive service, though drivers should be prepared for the current road works.

The room is quite big, but the air circulation is not very good and there is a little smell. The buffet in the evening is 188rm, the seafood is average, and the oysters are a bit fishy.
