New Hotels in Johor Bahru

"It was a short getaway with friends away from Singapore. As it was our first time staying at this new condo which I heard it’s newly built and just opened recently, I was more excited than my friends that I didn’t fully concentrate when the owner met me to assist with check-in and explained the facilities to me. Check-in was smooth and easy process. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly security guards. Thereafter, I was assisted by Samuel (a young , handsome, kind and hospitable chap), whom I believe is the owner managing the apartment units that we stayed. I got a different unit from my friends because I wanted some privacy and to sleep on my own bed and I’m happy I got a connecting room next to my friend’s. When he brought me to my room, I was quite surprised by how small the room was, quite compact that I would recommend a maximum of 2 persons to stay ideally. But the bed was super comfortable and huge, which allows me to roll freely and sleep comfortably. Room amenities such as dental kits, toiletries like shower gel and shampoo, hair dryer, kettle, comb and even shaving kit were provided to ensure convenience, which some other airbnbs or hotels don’t offer. Aircon is very cold, which makes sleeping more pleasant. Location of the apartment is highly accessible. If you’re hungry, 7 eleven and some other minimarts are just nearby, a few operates for 24hrs but most shops were closed at night. KSL city mall and other hotels are nearby which made it convenient for us to gather with our friends who stayed at nearby hotels. The only disadvantage during my stay was the fridge. I didn’t realise it wasn’t cold until when I came back I found my ice cream melting and had to throw it away. However, I was shocked but happy to receive a booking voucher from the owner to make it up for the fridge incident. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my experience here and would definitely come back for another night of stay. Highly recommended SPACE RESIDENCY to all! "Overall it’s a very good unit. My family loved it. The service from the lions bay team was very good. The view from the balcony was breathtaking tooo. Honestly would definitely recommend this place!! Just that they should keep the lift lobby area abit more cleaner, prob the condo’s management should play a role. But other than that no problem."

"First of all, congratulations to Sheraton Hotel Johor Bahru on its grand opening on 1st October! I’m glad to have the opportunity to stay here during my short staycation. Overall, it was a great experience of the warm welcome and hospitality from all the staff could be felt throughout the hotel. We arrived around 7pm, and the check-in staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. The check-in process was smooth, and he clearly explained the hotel facilities and layout to us. The room design is modern and beautifully done, equipped with new furniture and amenities. However, one small issue we encountered was with the bathroom amenities such as the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel containers were attached to the wall with adhesive and one of them fell during our stay. It might be better to have them securely fixed to the wall to prevent this from happening, especially when the area is wet. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. There was a wide variety of food available, including several types of fresh fruit juice. The bakery bar and coffee section were slightly separate from the main buffet area, but one of the F&B staff kindly came over to our table to ask if we would like coffee or tea and personally served it to us. A thoughtful touch that made our morning even better. Overall, a pleasant stay and a great start for Sheraton Hotel Johor Bahru. Wishing the team continued success, and I look forward to returning again soon!"

"An above-average apartment stay as it is brand new. Room is cozy and bathroom is basic and functional. Interesting quirky carpark arrangement as parking is only at 11 floor which is quite an effort to park. Location is excellent, which is next to KSL Shopping area. Many food cafeterias around the area."

"The unit, at a higher level, is a Seaview unit.. the unit is clean and tidy.. Fully furnished in kitchens with fridge, washing machine microwave and oven .. The only thing disappointing is the TV out of order.. Contact the management team, and they can't have any solution for this .. For 3 nights stay in the unit without a TV is a bad experience.. The management should not put up the room for sales if the TV are out of service in the room.. or they can inform guests in advance.."

"The elevators are really slow . We have been waiting for a long times cause few times is overload .at last we tired walking the stairs . But it is inconvenient to bring the elderly and children . Second is the toilet hygiene is really bad ,there are always ants in the toilet bowl . I am tired put hot water . I hope can improve it"
