"Apart from the room being a bit small, everything else was OK. The welcome drinks had a wide variety, and the plum wine was delicious. The bath salts were a thoughtful touch and tasted great. The mouthwash was from my favorite brand, and the shampoo and conditioner were excellent. The breakfast was very good, though the selection was a bit limited. Overall, it was great value for money."

"酒店比較新，設施齊全，衞生也很好。酒店靠近直江津站，有jr和私鐵線路，不過上越的公共交通系統很差，公交和私鐵班次不多，私鐵站距離對應景點距離也很遠。從酒店可以步行到國分寺和居多神社，之後可以一路步行至春日神社及春日山城城跡公園，基本涵蓋上越主要景點。考慮到上越的交通問題，在這住可能是個不錯的選擇"

"The room was excellent, although I will say it followed the usual Japanese hotel style with smaller rooms. There was, however, more than enough room for my husband and I. The bathroom was fabulous and everything was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to issues with the snow. The location is fairly central and in a really cute area with a train station very close."

"My wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Toyoko Inn Joetsu Myok Eli Nishi Gucci Room #1306 from 13 to 16 October 2025. The Hotel is just a 1-minute walk away from the Joetsumyoko Station. Similar to other Toyoko Inns, the modest reception is on the First Floor and it has limited parking lots on besides the Hotel, and also a bigger open car park about a 2-minute walk away. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥300 per day for 3 days at the open car park very nearby. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are not quite able to communicate in simple English. As the Hotel is located quite away from the city centre of this very small city, so there is no shopping centre nearby except a few eateries are near the Station and within comfortable walking distance. The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the small bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower. Like all Toyoko Inns, the Hotel provides daily breakfast of simple home cook styles; varieties are limited, but it is very comforting that gives a nice start for the day. Also, it offers free coffee and tea via machines 24 hours daily. At SGD S$97 per night with breakfast, we find it value for money and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Joetsu or Myoko again."

"It feels like a hotel is attached to a hot spring facility. In the evenings, it got crowded with many hot spring guests. There are few restaurants nearby and the cafeteria on site was crowded, so we bought some groceries at the nearby Aeon and ate them in our room. Breakfast was all-you-can-eat curry."

"The room is really big by Japanese standards, and the service is good. The car can be parked directly in front of the door, and there are many restaurants within walking distance.  I drove from Baima to a midway station in Niigata Port.  I feel that the price is very high and I am very satisfied with a stay.  When I checked in, I saw that I was not Japanese, so I sent a piece of information to me directly, and I wrote it clearly.  I arrived in the afternoon that day,  I stopped the car at night, and then walked to the Niujiao Restaurant to eat. The barbecue that day was very happy."

"This hotel was chosen as a midpoint before going up from Nagano to Niigata city. It is a hotel with a lot of history. I stayed in the main building, and it definitely felt old. It was clean enough that there were no problems with accommodation. It didn't seem like there were many guests because of its location, but the service was good, and breakfast was not buffet style, but a set meal, but it was quite neat and the taste was good."

"The location is relatively remote, but the victory is quiet enough, the window door faces the inner street.. There is no view at all.. Car parking hotel (free) Food is not lost, but there is a surprise. Time to go outside the hotel, outside the hotel (about 30 meters) There is a beach (bathing) You can swim in summer.. but the big waves feel dangerous "

"It was conveniently located in front of the station, and the front desk staff were courteous and friendly. The room was a semi-double twin, so I was able to relax comfortably. There were many restaurants near the hotel, and a convenience store nearby, so I think it's a very convenient location for traveling from Naoetsu Station."

"I was going to the Kashiwazaki fireworks festival at the last minute, but I made a reservation because there was a vacancy at a low price. The station is right in front of the hotel, and the parking lot is right in front of the hotel, so it was helpful. There is also a Lawson nearby and a ramen shop, so you won't have any trouble even if you get hungry in the middle of the night. The staff were very helpful and I had a pleasant stay."
