In Jinan, I chose the Xinrenhe Boutique Hotel at Daming Lake Baotu Spring. The experience wasn't immediately apparent; the shower head in the bathroom didn't work, and there was no body wash. You have to prepare all that, but thankfully, I had it all. The TV in the room didn't work... Fortunately, I only stayed one night and checked out quickly at noon the next day.
