I booked this for my parents, considering the location is close to the city center and scenic spots. I was surprised that the front desk at this Hanting hotel tricked them into scanning a QR code to register for Huazhu membership, posing as breakfast. So, no breakfast if I don't register? My Ctrip booking included meals. If you have a KPI for acquiring new members, I'd be happy to cooperate if you just stated it directly. It's not easy, but tricking an elderly person into registering is despicable! This behavior constitutes the use of improper means to collect personal information. Shouldn't Ctrip take action?
