Old hotel, needs renovating however we enjoyed our stay. Relatively close to the beach. We stayed here for 5 nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay but there are some issues we faced. Firstly they began to tell us they couldn’t accept my Korean issued ID and needed to take a 200,000 won damage deposit (this sign was written in English and showed to us at check in). Once they realised I was using my Korean ID card and bank card they suddenly didn’t need to do this which we found this confusing and wondered if the policy is only applied to some guests. We were also given an information sheet that said we had to “use the room cleanly or we will be charged” meaning we were always conscious leaving in the morning due to thinking we will be charged so we couldn’t fully relax. The room is big but old. The floor wasn’t hoovered for 2 days so sand was still on the floor. The room overall wasn’t well cleaned…we found spiders on the head board and we couldn’t walk on the terrace due to the board lifting. On our final evening, we found sand from night one still on the shower floor. Every night there was so much noise from the room above making it hard to sleep. However there are some positives. The staff are friendly and answered our questions in a polite manner, it’s a great location close to the beach and the room is a good size. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite there being some things that need to be improved. For the price we paid, it was an okay stay, however we won’t be staying here again and if we paid more than we did we would be disappointed.

A golf resort basically which is quiet. Drive 5min to beaches and cafes/eateries/restaurant. Tip: Hotel Sand has great breakfast overseeing the beautiful beach!

My stay at this hotel left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. I found stains on the carpet, sheets, duvet cover, and the bathroom could have used a thorough scrubbing. The service, unfortunately, was just average. While the staff was polite, they seemed disinterested in going the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. It was an underwhelming experience overall, and I expected better for the price I paid.

The staff are very kind First of all, I chose this place because the exterior was so nice.. I don't know if it's because it's so old, but it didn't seem clean, so I couldn't walk barefoot.. I couldn't go out to the veranda? terrace. I didn't have high expectations because it was a cheap place, but it was a place I went with my family, and the bathroom was translucent..? so I didn't turn on the bathroom light while washing because I was afraid it would show ㅠㅠ The bathroom door wouldn't lock; the shower head fixing part was broken, so I got hit by the shower head several times while washing. And the room was so humid, really... It only had air conditioning and heating, so the dehumidification function didn't work, and the terrace was so humid that I couldn't open the window... Oh, the view is nice..

I went to spend the last days of 2024 happily with my family... The moment I stepped into the bathtub to wash up... Why is there no chalk powder in the bathtub? What are these powders? I just wiped off the water and the oil layered up The entire bathtub was covered in grayish oil and it just came off when I touched it. It was so dirty, so dirty. On top of that, there was hair on the hair and important parts. This was at a level that someone who wasn't shedding hair would have done. At least I took the pictures after moving them around a bit. In the end, the desk clerk said that it was too hot and that I should come down because I was stuffy. Hey, change rooms? Wow... I was so angry when I hurriedly packed up the kids and moved at 10 PM. How was the pool? I'd rather fight The facilities were disappointing for that amount of money.. One lukewarm pool and the sides with water pressure massages are all facilities for the elderly Without the usual slides, there's one in the middle of the pool, and behind it, one cold pool, and a small jacuzzi with hot and cold pools in front of the dry sauna I looked forward to it after seeing the pictures, but I ended up just seeing the old facilities. I paid that amount of money and played for 2 hours... I regretted not going to the Geumho Resort pool for the same price and came back to spend the new year. If you're just going to sleep, go but the location is not good for staying for multiple nights I recommend it for large families who want to use it cheaply.

The hotel is spacious and clean for the price, and the staff is very friendly. There is also a golf course within the resort, so I thought it would be nice to stay at the hotel while playing golf next time.

The aqua pool, swimming pool, gym, and sauna that I picked at Hallim for my Jeju stay were all comfortable. I had a great time thanks to Ms. Kim Hyun-jung at the front desk, who listened to my inconveniences and prepared travel information and travel brochures perfectly.

I made a reservation without knowing that it was a place for golfers to stay. There is a convenience store nearby and a golf course. You have to park far away, and the facility itself is in a remote area, so it is very inconvenient. There is no toilet lid in the bathroom and the door is a slide, so it is not recommended.

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable!!! I chose the ocean view, but I could see the sea in the distance and had a comfortable stay. One thing that was disappointing was that there was nothing on the breakfast menu other than bibimbap, which was disappointing (a bibimbap restaurant). If you're going to visit Geumneung Beach, I highly recommend it.
