Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Arrived quite late for my layover in Hong Kong, but the service was still excellent. They arranged a great room for me, and there were even welcome fruits. Breakfast was delicious and fun; my child even managed to snag a doll!

The hotel prepared all the requested items we asked for when booking the room, and the Executive Club Lounge service was very thoughtful. Remember to book your seats in advance for the lounge with the sea view. The breakfast at the restaurant was extensive and delicious.

The room is very spacious. The views are absolutely stunning, and the location is excellent, very close to the subway station, making it easy to get around. The beach is right outside the hotel, and there are tons of food options in the vicinity. It's also very close to all the surrounding shopping districts, so you can easily find places to eat, drink, and shop.

During the National Day holiday, I accompanied my mother to Hong Kong for a friend's daughter's wedding. After the successful wedding, we decided to extend our stay for two more days and chose to check into the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. It's a well-established five-star brand with an excellent location, directly facing Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained and clean. The rooms have an old-fashioned style, exuding a classic, retro charm. The room size is quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, comfortable and cozy. We booked a partial sea view room, but couldn't fully see the sea view. The breakfast was very busy with many diners, but it was quite rich and delicious. Overall, we had a good experience! ❤️💙🩷

Overall, it was good. The room was quite spacious, and the hotel's location was excellent. You could even catch glimpses of Victoria Harbour through some gaps. An extra bed could be added for young children, and all the staff were relatively friendly. However, the soundproofing in the room was quite poor; you could hear anyone next door or outside the door. Secondly, the shower room design was impractical; the showerhead was located to the side of the door, making the showering space narrow and somewhat unsafe. Also, there was a welcome tea bag on the day of check-in, but none on the second day, which I've never experienced in any star-rated hotel. The price was quite high during the National Day holiday, and the service shouldn't just be superficial!

It's right outside Exit P1 or P2 of East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, and very close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station and Victoria Harbour. Check-in is at 3:00 PM, but you can complete the formalities early and drop off your luggage, then just come back later to pick up your key card. The service was great, and it was a fun touch that they change the elevator carpets every day. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. There's also a water purifier provided, so no need to buy bottled water.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and Victoria Harbour. However, being an older hotel, the facilities are a bit dated, which is to be expected. On the bright side, it's very clean, so it didn't affect our stay. Overall, we were quite satisfied.

The hotel's service was impeccable. A lovely lady at the front desk was so thoughtful, even noticing it was my birthday and wishing me well – I was really touched! The sea view was incredible, and the Avenue of Stars is right downstairs. K11 is next door, and Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station is just around the corner.

The service was warm and friendly, always ready to answer questions and quick to resolve any issues. They even gave us a complimentary buffet breakfast, and the extra bed for the child was free, which was fantastic. This is our second stay here, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Hong Kong.
