"A hotel on the edges of a valley. Sprawling estate with hotel rooms, chalet style rooms, and assorted meeting and conference rooms. There are gardens, fruit trees and different areas for outdoor dining. (A pool was not open at the time of my visit) My room was spacious, had all the amenities and a lovely view of the gardens. I had dinner here served by the lovely Gianna - pasta, croquettes, spinach and coffee. Together with wine, it came to a reasonable 20 Euros. The breakfast - meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, breads, cereals and yoghurt was excellent. The heartbeat of the hotel was ex-Dominican Evoy who flitted about, helping others and generally being a good host. A definate place to stay..."

"Torre Marabino is an oasis. Hillside location, garden of old olive trees, lovely pool and shaded terrace for breakfast. Room well appointed and very clean. Buffet breakfast varied and high quality. Dinner highly recommended. Local wines and olive oil."

"Kinanto is a calm, relaxing, off the beaten track place to stay, just outside the unassuming baroque town of Ispica. Lovely Hilaria runs the place with skill and charm … and is always ready to impart good advice on where to go and where to eat. She makes the best breakfast on Sicily too! Day trips from Kinanto not to be missed are : Modica, Noto, Marzamemi and sumptuous Ortigia. Just so you know, the motorway from Catania down to Ispica is not yet a toll road as it remains unfinished … so it’s good to use it if travelling down from Catania Airport or going up to Ortigia for the day. We loved our stay here … our spacious split level apartment had a great kitchen and the pool was usually a haven of tranquility. A memorable stay. Thank you so much."

"The hotel has rooms in an old palazzo. It’s more like an apartment, as each room has a large bedroom, combined living room and kitchen, as well as a bathroom. The rooms are spacious, but dated. The bed was okay, not great. We shared the large balcony with the rooms next door. There are no screens on the windows, so insects came in the apartment. The bathroom had a small shower. Unfortunately, there was not adequate water pressure and it took a long time to get the shampoo out of my hair. Also, the toilet didn’t flush well so “debris” remained in the toilet. The breakfast was very basic. Nothing fancy."

"This accomodation is special. My girlfriend and I went to several places in Sicily. I never had a warm welcome like this. Francesco (the owner) and Abdullah (he works there) maby are the most kind people we ever met on a accomodation. The place is beautiful. The only place that is better in reality versus the photo’s on the internet. Go here!"
