Best Ise Hotels

"My second stay at this hotel, but first time for this room type. Room area is ok for 4 adults but i do not recommended to have 4adults stay in this room as the bed size is too small, even for 2 asian adult ladies per 1 bed. Bathroom, toiltet, and sink are seperated, which is very convenient for everyone to do their own business at same time. Artificial hot spring bath is located in the main building, which is not connected to the Annex building. So you gotta walk outside to the main building, i am ok with this but my mom is not lol. Location is prime, near Iseshi station."

"A typical guesthouse, nothing particularly noteworthy. Because it's an old building, the soundproofing isn't great; the experience depends on how noisy other guests are. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but not too far. There's a well-reviewed old restaurant near Isekai. The directions say to go up the slope next to Lawson, but actually both sides are slopes, so it's unclear which slope is being referred to. Based on the entrance facing Lawson, I strongly advise against taking the right-hand slope, especially when pushing a suitcase. The slope is very steep, and many of the drainage ditches are large enough to trap luggage, making it very difficult to walk. I recommend taking the left-hand slope, which is much gentler."

"Staff was very helpful and nice, also here our bags before and after our stay for us. Bathroom had some hairs left in it though..."

"This hotel is super close to the train station and the outer shrine's pilgrimage route, making it really convenient for getting around. We used the self check-in, but ended up with two rooms on different floors. After a quick chat with the front desk, who were very helpful, they managed to get us on the same floor. There was a weird smell in the room; I initially thought I'd mistakenly walked into a smoking room. It got a bit better after I turned on the air purifier. Breakfast was just okay – a bento box per person, plus a self-serve selection of bread, drinks, and miso soup. Overall, I'd say it's pretty decent for its star rating and price."

"Very closed to Kintetsu train station and good access to JR station.. Room is clean but need redecorating. Rceptioni staffs are very helpful. Bonus to have onsen spa on site. Super market in front of the hotel and a drug store is 1 min walk. Good access to Ise Shrine."

"It's conveniently located near the station. The staff were friendly. Each bed had a place to hang out clothes and towels, and each bed also had a curtain to ensure privacy. I guess I was unlucky since it was a dormitory, but the person sleeping directly below me in the bunk bed was really loud in his sleep. After the lights were out and everyone had fallen asleep, he would suddenly start laughing and saying ”tell me! tell me!”, which scared me and kept me up all night."

"Outdoor bath was lovely and the only real redeeming feature of this hotel. It was a 20 minute walk from Iseshi station and felt like in the middle of nowhere. There were no restaurants or eateries open for dinner on a Wednesday evening so I had to buy food from Family Mart. Rooms are clean but quite dated. I paused for breakfast in advance and it was sub-par."

"We stayed here to visit Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) and Mikimoto Pearl Island. We took a bus from Naiku (Inner Shrine) and got off at Futami Sogo Shisho-mae (Futami General Branch Office). It was an easy walk of just a few minutes to the hotel via Family Mart. We also appreciated being able to use the private baths from 3:00 PM without a reservation. We opted for breakfast, and you could choose between Japanese and Western style. Not only was it delicious, but the view from the 10th floor was also fantastic, making for a very pleasant morning. Meoto Iwa was less than a 10-minute walk away. Mikimoto Pearl Island was less than a 20-minute bus ride from the east entrance of Meoto Iwa (though be sure to check the bus schedule as they are infrequent). I'd love to see Meoto Iwa at sunrise (or sunset) and also visit Toba Aquarium, so I'd definitely like to stay here again then."

"The room I grabbed for the fireworks festival is not convenient in terms of transportation. The nearest one is probably JR Sangu Station (stations in the wild suburbs don’t have that kind of station). It takes 15 minutes to walk to the hotel. The way is Tianye Road. Don’t doubt it, it is more suitable for people with cars. , there is a large supermarket opposite the hotel, and next to it is a convenience store and (it seems) an Internet celebrity dessert shop. The room size is by Japanese standards, the sanitary services are also good, and there is a large bath."

"Room was spacious enough for 3 adults (the room is meant for 4 adults). Bathroom is surprisingly spacious and the toilet is separated. Water pressure is good too. It's more like a mini studio apartment, there's a mini bar, a kitchen sink and microwave as well. There's a laundry area in the hotel but we didn't check that out. Parking space is available for those that are driving. Location wise, it's quiet and about 10 mins walk from Iseshi station. There's a Lawson convenience store just 2 mins walk away. To take note: 1. The bedsheets had some stain. It's probably washed but the stain was still there. 2. The window behind the bed has no curtain and the sun rises pretty early. So it's super bright, however they do provide eye mask for you. 3. There's no luggage storage or luggage delivery services available. 4. No breakfast option and the town has limited options. All in all, was a good stay. Would recommend."
