"Beautiful hotel but disappointed pool was under construction. Manager kindly compensated us with a bottle of wine. Shower in our room did not provide hot water, the water was rust colour, did not drain properly, and had mould. We were moved to another room which was spacious and clean. The second night there was loud music playing below our room until 11. We were not impressed as we had to get up at 3:30 am and we were told it was a planned event and could not lower the music. Bad planning putting us in that room when they knew it was going to be loud. Food at restaurant was just OK. Filet mignon was overcooked and definitely not the quality of meat expected. Our guide Angel (Dendrobirds Peru) who travelled with us brought us to areas nearby for the couple of days to see various beautiful frogs."

The hotel is impeccably clean, the staff are very courteous and go out of their way to make you comfortable in-spite of the language barrier. The breakfast is very nice. The riverfront is within walking distance and a supermarket nearby if you need to buy something like water etc Overall very satisfied with my stay "
