Very nice place, in a good location. They provide breakfast 7-12 ( cereals, toast and jams) with water, coffee and tea all day long. They give you a towel and a big locker. Beds are big, private and comfy. Staff is nice and helpful.
They offer bike tours on Sundays, which I could not attend but wish they would rent those bikes out for the other days.

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the location is not bad as downtown areas such as Old Town are within walking distance.
I stayed in a dormitory, and the bed was spacious, and there was a sturdy light and a shelf for small items, so I had no trouble. The curtains were made of thick material and were not see-through, and they were large enough that you couldn't see inside through the gaps, so I felt that they were very considerate.
The lockers also came with sturdy padlocks, so you don't need to bring your own, which is reassuring.
The pantry also had a good breakfast.
There were several bicycles, but they were for tours and not for rental. However, I heard that you can rent a motorbike for RM 50 a day, so it looks like you can go on long trips. I would like to use it again next time.
The staff were all very kind and nice.
They also sold original T-shirts, which were reasonably priced, so I bought one.
Overall, it was a very good hotel. I would like to use it again the next time I come to Ipoh.

There is no service. I spent a lot of time to check in, but the management was not there. I couldn't contact the staff at night. There were many locals staying in the dormitory and it was very noisy. There were still all kinds of conversations after 1 a.m. It was really unimaginable. After a long time, the email replied that I should come forward to negotiate or wear earplugs, haha. Speechless. I won't post the ghost screaming video. I don't recommend it unless you live with a large group of people.

But if you are alone, don't live in this dormitory. There is no administrator on site. Survival is important!
Encounter There are a bunch of locals living in the dormitory. They started spraying all kinds of pungent liquids in the dormitory in the afternoon, and kept talking loudly. At 1:15 in the middle of the night, the conversation between each other still did not stop. I reported it to the hotel and asked me to step forward and educate them, or let me wear headphones. I educated them, but they didn't listen. I also put on headphones, but the voices of several people could not be covered by the headphones. Cherish your life and stay away from this hotel. The fee for the second day has been deducted, but I really don't have the courage to continue living. I am currently negotiating with the hotel and have informed Ctrip. It's really scary.

The hostel located near one of the corners of Dr Seenivasagam park. The shared space is well decorated and is comfortable for lounging. A simple breakfast was provided at the hostel, but i wished they had non-dairy option for milk instead. The room we got was really close to the main road so we could hear every passing vehicle till late at night. Even with the ear plugs provided, it barely reduced the noise. It's really unfortunate. If you are a light sleeper definitely avoid. Having that said, the rooms are clean and bed is comfortable.
