Douskos Guesthouse ★★★
"Beautiful room with a balcony and sea view. Ideal location near the harbor. Spacious, simply decorated with plates and glasses. Very clean. Great place to stay!"
Bellevalia Hydra - Formerly Four Seasons Hydra ★★★★
"We were not fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful hotel but we have been regular beach attenders for five years now…the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.. service is second to none and a huge big shout out to Tinos.. what an asset to your team 💙… also huge thanks to the incredible boat crew who were super patient with a nervous passenger (Spyros and the team) we will miss you and as they say until next time… 🇬🇷💙🇬🇷"
Angelica Traditional Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is particularly beautiful, quiet, no room number, each room is distinguished by a Greek goddess. The room is particularly exquisite, and the mountain opposite the hotel is a school, especially warm."
Achilleas Pension ★★★
"Really excellent choice. Staff were really helpful, the room was good and the location was perfect. Near enough to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. The only criticism was that the wifi was weak and it took forever to send emails, don’t think about downloading anything."
Maison Muse ★★★
Hydrea Exclusive Hospitality ★★★
"It was advertised as a 5 star hotel with good WiFi and a bathtub but in fact was at best a 3 star B&B, tub was broken and had no WiFi.. was willing to pay the $1k/night for what was advertised but got swindled by this property. Pros: it’s a beautiful old building with a beautiful view of the sea from the windows. Cons: it’s a beautiful old building, but has not been renovated aside from a cheap bathroom that was barely functional. There was mold from wood rot that had been painted over to look ok, but if you have mold issues you will get sick. No wifi in our room, they kept gaslighting us about it. The tub was not functional and you had to hold a shower spout to clean yourself because there was no shower otherwise. 5 star hotels have room service etc obviously that was not the case here either. Basically complete fraud."
Mandraki Beach Resort - Adults Only ★★★★★
"I am what one may call a Greek fanatic. I have been coming to Greece for years, tried many high end hotels, but The Mandraki is the perfect spot to relax, cast all your stress away. It’s located in Hydra. If, like me, you enjoy daily boat rides, know you need a shuttle to access the hotel in only 10 minutes. Upon arrival, you will be shown to your room, the majority of which open directly onto one of the cleanest private sandy beaches I have experienced. Luxury hides in the details. The hotel was designed with great taste, in accordance with today’s luxury standards (but not an in-the-nose luxury) and with the history of the site, which is a former naval base. It’s feels like you are on a typical Greek harbor, though enjoying the peace and quiet of a 30 suites + facility. Very authentic and chic! Last but not least, art lovers will be pleased to know that one space was turned into a must-see art gallery. I wish I had come when there is yoga classes. It was too early in the season unfortunately. I will have to return! :) Thanks for everything! Shout out to Arthur, Wilhelmina, Alex, Chloe and Eirini who took great care of me! Sarah Belmont"
Orloff Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is a short walk from the port and a beautifully kept historical building. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. On arrival we were given a local map and recommendations for eating, we tried three of the four and they were all excellent and all within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. Breakfast was served in the courtyard under the lemon trees and there was a good selection. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It is a lovely place to stay."
Hotel Miranda ★★★★
"Hotel Miranda was a fabulous spot to explore Hydra for 36 hours, we would have stayed longer if we could! Yanna and her team went over and above to make our experience amazing! They very kindly allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel while we awaited the evening ferry. Breakfast fabulous and the rooms very authentic to the grand mansion - the hotel has been in the same family for over 65 years!"

Fos Hydra Residence
"We stayed in a port view suite. It was a large room that was nicely furnished with every amenity imaginable - ear plugs, eye shade, dental and shave kits, etc. The shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were hard for my taste. AC worked well, although it seemed to stop cooling during the night and we woke up sweating both nights we stayed. There was just a very thick comforter so it was either on or off. Would have been nice to have had a sheet, as well. Service was exceptional by the staff. Breakfast is limited to coffee and fruit but a bakery is nearby. It is located very close to the ferry dock and help was provided for our luggage. As in most places in Hydra there were a lot of steps - we were on the top floor. The property is a newly renovated mansion and it has been very well done."
