Tout d'abord il faut bien se dire qu'il s'agit d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Ayant fait un 5 en Égypte lors d'un précédent voyage, oui il y a une différence bien évidemment. L'hôtel et ses jardins ainsi que les piscines sont bien entretenus. Il est par contre regrettable que l'entretien des chambres se fasse en plein milieu de l'après-midi, heures auxquelles on aimerait se mettre à l'abri de la chaleur (chambres certes un peu vieillottes mais spacieuses et on ne manque de rien). Idem pour l'entretien des piscines qui ouvrent à 8h, l'entretien se fait après, autant des abords que de la piscine en elle-même alors qu'on est déjà dedans ou installés sur un transat. Il en va de même à 18h quand ils doivent ranger, libérez bien vite les transats et n espérez pas avoir une boisson 10min avant la fermeture! La mer est très belle, il faut être attentif aux marées pour en profiter et ne pas s attendre à faire du snorkeling car il y a peu de poissons, pas comme à Marsa Alam. Question nourriture et boisson, les cocktail alcoolisés ne sont vraiment pas bons, ceux sans alcool beaucoup plus. Le vin et la bière avec des glaçons passent bien. La nourriture est variée, ils font des buffets à thème presque tous les soirs. Il ne faut pas s attendre à de la grande cuisine mais nous n'avons jamais rien eu de mauvais. Les petits-déjeuners et dîners sont un peu répétitifs mais comme je dis on trouve tjs qqch de différent selon ses goûts. Impossible de réserver dans les restos à la carte vu le monde, nous n'avons donc testé que l'asiatique qui etait très bien. Très réactifs si il y a un problème autant dans les chambres qu avec les excursions, ils trouvent une solution rapidement et qui convienne à chacun. Ils sont comme d'habitude perpétuellement en attente de pourboires mais on le sait donc ça ne m'a pas plus embêtée que ça, tout comme ceux qui proposent les excursions et services. En résumé du bon, du moins bon mais quand-même très positif dans l'ensemble. Cet hôtel vaut ses 4 étoiles ni plus ni moins et est un très bon compromis pour un moindre budget.

Wir kommen bereits seit 5 Jahren ins Golden Beach Resort und sind immer wieder begeistert. Unser Room Boy (Ayman) ist ein sehr netter, ordentlicher Mann. Respekt an seine Arbeit und ein riesen Lob. Am 18+ Pool möchten wir Mohamed, Achmed und Naggy loben. Höflich, guter Umgang, gute Deutschkenntnisse. Die Anlage ist immer top gepflegt, die Gärtner leisten eine super Arbeit. Was das Essen angeht, ist für jeden etwas dabei, riesen Auswahl und auch die Restaurants im Resort sind zu empfehlen. Wir kommen Ende November wieder und wünschen dem gesamten Team alles Gute. I went in Feb 2025 for my 9 days honeymoon and here what happened since we foot the ground: 1- No welcome drink was offered for us. 2- they told us we upgraded your room to VIP yet we knew after then that it's not an upgrade as we booked honeymoon suite already! 3- On the second day of the honeymoon on 11PM!! Someone from the finance department called my husband telling him that the travel agency didn't transfer the agreed money to them and they asked us to pay 61K in the reception in the Morning!! - We went directly to reception in the morning to ask them "Why did this employee called us and didn't call the agency?! They had to many lame excuses and they said if the agency didn't pay they will have to end our reservation!! - We kept calling the agency to transfer the money which they did the next day but they still kept on calling us to pay, and when we advised that agency already transferred the money they said the employee was out of country and can't check the bank account!! So why you kept on calling us!! - we spent 5 days from our 9 days in this loop and we couldn't even enjoy our honeymoon cuz we kept on thinking what if they didn't pay how we will get 61K to pay the hotel "even though the amount we paid to the agency much less than this!!" - on the 5th day when we made sure that the hotel got it's money we went to the guest relations to complain and the lady was very decent and as a compensation she arranged a free dinner in Asian Restaurant. - We was still unhappy cuz they basically ruined our honeymoon and they shouldn't involve us in such matter, cuz Booking doesn't pay to hotels before at least 6 months! And they just can't to the same thing with the foreigners but because we are Egyptians they did this!! - We tried as much as we can to take our heads of this bad experience and enjoy but we couldn't, my husband wanted to have a place to visit every anniversary but after this situation we decided not to reserve with Golden Beach anymore as we don't want to pass this experience again! And we advised all our friends not to reserve with Golden Beach in the future!
