Before reaching the hotel, the experience at the Makadi city gate wasn’t smooth too many questions, ID checks, and waiting while the hotel confirmed my booking. While this isn’t directly the hotel’s fault, it’s still part of the guest’s first impression. It would be good if Jaz Group, which owns the hotel, looked into making this part of the arrival more welcoming. At check-in, I was told to wait without a clear reason or proper handling. I was later assisted by Ahmed Ashry, who changed the experience completely. He was professional, respectful, and clearly understands hospitality. He walked me through every detail of the room and hotel facilities without sounding scripted or rushed. He answered questions patiently, added a light and polite tone, and stayed until I received the room I wanted. Even when the bellman was about to dealy, he brought the luggage himself. He definitely deserves credit for improving the overall mood and experience after a frustrating arrival. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It felt recently refreshed.
