Best Western the Plaza Hotel Reviews

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they’re a very deep sleeper. The road noise is impossible to sleep with. I’ll be complaining soon and seeking a part refund. Even with earplugs I couldn’t sleep enough. (There was also no bottled water. Even in countries with drinking tap water, hotel rooms get theirs from tanks so it’s not recommended.)

This hotel is very good. There is a McDonald's downstairs and next to it, as well as several other restaurants. It is a 7-minute walk from the airport. There is also a free shuttle bus. I personally think it is better to walk there. When I left, I also walked to the airport, which is very close.

There is no elevator on the second floor, so I had to carry my luggage up by myself. The door faces the airport elevated road, and I can hear the sound of racing cars all night. The air conditioner in the room is so loud that it cannot be turned on at all. There are no slippers, and the water heater smells. Except for the free airport pick-up, everything else is completely unworthy of the price. I found that if I really want to catch an early flight, I can choose a hotel that is a little further away.

Location: 900m from the airport. The shuttle runs once an hour and tips are required. The breakfast is a total disaster and should be banned. The two shops and the sushi restaurant close at 8pm - everything in the hotel is closed by then too. It is sooo loud at the pool because the hotel is in the middle of 3 highways. So even one night is crazy for the money.

Close to the airport, there is a bus in front of the hotel. Parking fees in Honolulu are very expensive, and the hotel also charges $40 for parking. It is very convenient to take the bus directly into the city. Although the hotel is not very new, the hygiene is still good. We stayed there three times. We didn't want to rent a car when hopping islands, so we stayed here
