love the location and the room given. love the spacious room and amenities available in the room and in the hotel. i can see the lovely Hong Kong view from the room. the hotel even surprised me with a birthday cake during my stay. I was very touched and I am looking forward to staying with them next time!

The location is convenient. Just a few minutes walk from the TST MTR station. The service is good. The room is clean and tidy. There are also some good restaurants in the hotel.

Very excellent hotel. Convenient place and easy to walk around anywhere. Also has very friendly staff. Maggie and Terry were so so so helpful and made my Hong Kong experience wonderful. 10/10 would recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay. It felt like being at home with family. It's important to note that I'm recovering from a back surgery. Prior to my short stay at the Cordis, I had spent the past 4 weeks on bed rest. After 4 weeks if over 22 hours a day in bed, I was desperate to get out of the house. I was also very nervous because my spine is still very fragile. The service was completely customized to fit my needs and I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Every day I looked forward to speaking with the staff, especially Jocelyn, Lucky, and Yosie. Everything at the hotel was perfect. Despite being a very nice, modern, and clean hotel, staying here felt like staying at a family members house...Very cozy, warm and comfortable. Thank you to everyone on the Executive Club Level team for helping us have the best hotel stay of our life: Kevin, Mahen, Jocelyn, Yosie, Tommy, Edwin, Lucky, Vicky, Jay I will refer everyone I can to come stay at Cordis Hotel when in Hong Kong, and I will definitely be back.... hopefully next month!

This hotel was a great value for money at a very convenient location and right next to an MTR station. You get what you paid for: the rooms are HK-size (small) but comfortable; and the hotel is long overdue for a renovation, but it was all very clean and the housekeeping team was very attentive. I got a harbour-view room on a high floor and that was beautiful.

The front desk service was standard. Housekeeping staff were very enthusiastic. The hotel facilities are not new, but they are well-maintained. When the air conditioner, dryer, and air purifier are all on in the room, the noise level is quite high, which can be disruptive at night. You may choose to turn them off yourself. The hotel's buffet breakfast mainly features Hong Kong local style and Indian style dishes, with relatively few vegetables.

Great location as Royal Plaza hotel is accessible from shopping center to Mongkok East MRT station. Great hotel service too as hotel arranged for immediate room change when the bathroom floor was wet with dirty water and dirt due to choked drainage. Downside of the hotel is the check-out time at 11am is a bit early.

Loved everything, room with bath, fridge with drinks, bed comfy, great staff, breakfast and amazing view, but the hotel is a little tired. The coffee machine didnt work and the lifts took forever. To be fair the the hotel was full and I should have reported the coffee machine We would stay there again though for the location and the view !

First impression was how clean the room was! The airport bus A41 stops outside the hotel makes up for the location. Nearest walking distance is about 8 minutes to either City One or Shek Mun MTR station. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to MTR and central Shatin where there is the main bus stop for other routes. The staff at the hotel was helpful. We stayed there for a few nights on arrival at HK and left couple of big suitcases there whilst we travelled light to cross the border to China. We did book to return to Alva for couple more nights on our return to HK before departing back to the UK. For the price, cleanliness and the helpful staff, we definitely will return to Alva hotel.

Staff were very attentive and helpful. No request was too much to ask of them. I was able to store my luggage after check-out; no problem! The view was incredible, the bed was super comfortable and the room was a good size with plenty of space; not so of other places I have seen in HK. The water was piping hot and I had the best bath ever in a more than comfortable bath tub with piping hot water! Just what I needed after a month of traveling! It's a very convenient location with MTR and places to eat nearby. Great breakfast! The only reason why I didn't score 'excellent' is because a few charging/plug sockets didn't work and I had to boil my kettle on the other side of the room, next to my bed. Also, there were no bathrobes. That said, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!
