GGuest UserWe were at the said hotel because of MU match on 30 May 2025.
The location to Hysan Place is about 8 to 10mins walking distance where we bought MU jersey on those two days. Not only that the nearby area got restaurants like 鼎泰丰 and Japanese restaurant.
Walk Abit further, there are mall like SOGO, Lee Gardens building got a lots brand good shops.
There are even local fruits stall n market too.
Lastly, all the concierge staffs and front line staff are nice and friendly. They always greeted and opened the door for us to enter or exit.
Thank a lot for your excellent service and let us feel like a home.

OOuyangyuxinSteveStaying at the Hong Kong Silverview Hotel, I found delightful surprises in every detail. The room wasn't overly spacious, but the light wood furnishings brightened it up. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows, the glittering nightscape of Victoria Harbour spilled into view, and even the air seemed infused with Hong Kong's romantic charm.
The bathroom featured a neat wet/dry separation, the toiletries had a subtle gardenia scent, and the bath towels were fluffy like clouds. Right below, the MTR station entrance made it easy to shop in Tsim Sha Tsui or enjoy a cha chaan teng meal in Sheung Wan. Returning, picking up some fishballs from the corner stall and carrying the steaming paper bowl into the elevator, there was a wonderful, homely ease.
The front desk staff spoke fluent Mandarin, and the cool mints offered at check-out were a refreshing touch. While not a top-tier luxury hotel, it perfectly blends convenience and comfort, much like a beloved old cha chaan teng tucked away in Hong Kong's streets – cozy and unforgettable.

GGuest UserChoosing the Marriott was such a smart decision! It's incredibly close to Ocean Park, with direct skybridge access, taking less than 5 minutes. The MTR station is also very nearby, making it super convenient to get to the city center. With Ocean Park closing at 7:30 PM, you can head straight back to the hotel for dinner and relaxation without getting tired feet. Plus, from our room, we could even see the Ocean Park cable cars, which made for a fantastic view.

BBaobaoyunThis is already my third stay here this year, and it's definitely the top choice hotel if you're visiting HKUST. Transportation is incredibly convenient; Tseung Kwan O MTR station connects to other lines, providing quick access to various parts of the city. For HKUST, simply turn right a few steps out of the hotel and catch the 792M double-decker bus, which stops at HKUST on its way to Sai Kung. Alternatively, take the MTR one stop to Hang Hau, then exit and turn left to catch mini-bus 11M, which is extremely quick. A large shopping mall is directly downstairs, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel's shuttle bus is very useful, especially for getting to the city center. The nearby Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park is great for a stroll, and you can even take a ferry from there to Sai Wan Ho.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at YHA Jockey Club Mt. Davis Youth Hostel, and it was an experience worth sharing! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle while still being within reach of all the action, this is the place to be.
What I Loved:
✅ Breathtaking Views: The hostel is perched on Mt. Davis, offering panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, especially at sunrise and sunset—absolutely stunning!
✅ Affordable & Great Value: Compared to most accommodations in Hong Kong, this hostel offers great value for money, making it a budget-friendly option for travellers.
✅ Tranquil Atmosphere: Unlike hotels in the city centre, this place is surrounded by nature, perfect for those who want a relaxing stay.
✅ Friendly Staff: The hostel staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips on getting around.
✅ Outdoor Common Area: There’s a nice outdoor area where you can sit back, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the views.
A Few Things to Note:
🔹 Location & Transport: Since the hostel is located on a hill, getting there requires taking a shuttle bus (provided by the hostel) or a taxi. If you prefer a more adventurous route, a scenic hike up Mt. Davis is an option, of course please do it during the day time.
🔹 Basic Amenities: This is a youth hostel, so don’t expect luxury. The rooms are simple but clean, with basic beds and shared facilities. Bring your own toiletries for added comfort.
🔹 Limited Dining Options: There isn’t a restaurant on-site, so it’s best to bring your own food or plan to eat before heading up. The common kitchen is available for light meal prep.
🔹 WIFI coverage & Speed, the signal in room is very pool, I started a 10 mins YouTube video at night and cannot reach to the end after sun rise.
Overall Experience:
If you're an adventurer, a backpacker, or someone looking for a quiet escape with fantastic views, I highly recommend this hostel. It may not be for those seeking high-end comforts, but for nature lovers and budget-conscious travellers, it’s a hidden gem on Hong Kong Island! 🌿🏙️
Would I stay here again? Yes! Just be prepared for the location challenge, but once you get there, the views are totally worth it.

JJoyce SolinapWe stayed as a family of 4 within a group of 12 (including kids), and Novotel Citygate was the perfect choice. The location is super convenient — right next to Citygate Outlets, close to the Ngong Ping Cable Car, and just a short ride to Disneyland.
The free airport shuttle was a huge help, especially for a big group like ours. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a modern, welcoming vibe.
Although we didn’t avail of breakfast, we were happy with the overall service and amenities. Definitely recommended for families or groups who want comfort, accessibility, and great value near Lantau Island attractions.

Excellent. It's located right across the street from Exit B2 of HKU MTR Station. The surrounding area offers abundant dining and shopping choices, including local tea restaurants and a Wellcome supermarket. You can also explore the university campus or go hiking, and the seaside is just one MTR stop away.
## Facilities
The soundproofing is decent. Although the decor is traditional, it's well-maintained with no stale odors. It's equipped with a water purifier, an air purifier, disposable slippers, and toiletries. The mattress is comfortable and the bedding clean. However, there's no dedicated shower area (the bathtub setup is a bit inconvenient), the toilet is a standard model (not a smart bidet), and the traditional hairdryer is somewhat weak.

The front desk staff were proactive and patient, even offering to help with luggage. They were also accommodating when I requested a late check-out. The cleaning staff were equally polite and helpful.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff are very helpful and friendly indeed . They are very considerate. Once we arrived at the main door , the staff already came out to assist us to take the wheelchair from the back of taxi . This really impressed us .
The staff in the swimming pool is very helpful too .
The swimming pool is clean and water is good .
Wish and pray that they can continue to work even when the pool is closed for few months
On the whole , we have a pleasant stay and retreat .

RRexinshiminaiyiguI spontaneously decided to visit Hong Kong Disneyland in July and unexpectedly found this hotel at a great price. It seems to be more expensive now, but I would consider staying here again if the opportunity arises.
The location is about a 15-minute walk from Lai Chi Kok MTR station. There are many local 'cha chaan teng' (Hong Kong-style cafes) nearby, and some are genuinely delicious, but be aware that they only accept cash.
The room was really small, but I slept soundly, and it was quite clean. I was able to open my 20-inch suitcase flat.
You'll need to bring your own travel adapter as the hotel doesn't provide them. No deposit is required.

XXingguangyuanThe Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong is an absolute gem! The rooms are exceptionally spacious for Hong Kong, with soft and comfortable bedding. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning sea views, and you can even see the Tsing Ma Bridge lit up at night.
The staff provides incredibly thoughtful service; they patiently answered all our questions and even proactively upgraded our room, which really enhanced our experience. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a private beach, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. The free WiFi signal is also super stable.
Although it's a bit far from the city center, there's a shuttle bus directly to Tsuen Wan Station, and it's also very convenient to get to Disneyland. It offers excellent value for money and is definitely a top choice for family trips!
