"Overall a good experience. The location was perfect for me, just outside the metro entrance, many buses around and walkable distance to some nice neighbourhoods.
The room (no. 10) was not 4 beds but 6 which is fine, but not what advertised. For me, the main disadvantage was that there was no locker, not for the bags and not for smaller items, which meant that bags were just lying on the floor of a quite small room and they weren't really secured. Also, the bathroom is inside the bedroom and the shower just gets everything wet inside - for me it was okay and the soundproofing was surprisingly good, but just be aware.
Although there wasn't anyone at reception when I arrived, the answered through whatsapp very fast and gave all the necessary information."

WWenli3809The price is good for Hong Kong. It is close to the subway and there are many shopping and eating places around. Public transportation is also convenient. The elevator is broken. It seems to have been broken for a while. If you live on the sixth floor, it is difficult to climb the stairs. The hair dryer is outside and people use it very late and very early, which is noisy.

AAnonymous UserLocated on the second floor right by a busy road, it was quite noisy when I checked in during the afternoon. However, when I returned around midnight to sleep, it wasn't too bad, and I was able to get some sleep. The room was small but clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was very cold. It's conveniently located near Mong Kok East MTR Station. Power adapters were provided. Considering the summer holiday season, at this price point in Mong Kok, it truly offers excellent value for money.

AAnonymous UserOur room is bunk bed so we have more space for our luggage.
The toilet is very small, you have to stand in front of the toilet bowl and cant move much. The towel they provided is not new, it has some stain
The location is excellent. You can walk from the buildung just 10 steps on the left to the bus stop (A1 to airport) and on the right to the MTR. Its alsp surrounding by many shops i.e. 7-11, donki, sushiro, hash tag b and many more.
You can walk to the pier only 10 mins.

GGuest UserWe got a very good price for this guesthouse, and we didn't expect much. With that in mind, we are generally happy with our stay.
The biggest problem we had was that the name of the hotel on Trip.com was not the same as the hotels name written outside the elevator. It is called Davao Hostel on Trip, but the name is written Day and night guesthouse, so we had some problems finding it.
The location is in Chungking mansions, which is a very interesting melting pot for people from different cultures. It is very close to the subway and to the sea front. It is also very easy to find shopping, restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.
Our rooms were upgraded for free, which was very nice. The family rooms we got were clean and big enough. The personnel were a bit uninterested in giving us informaion and help, except for one staff with very good attitude.
The hotel is spread out in different floors and blocks, so we had to walk and take the elevator from the reception.
We recommend staying in Chungking Mansions if you are on a tight budget and think location is more important than room standard. We also see it as a big plus to be able to experience the atmosphere in the building.

FFerdinandWhat can I say, it's a small room that usually serves its purpose. However, we had problems with the drainage on the whole floor (2 rooms were affected, because the water systems were connected), which led to our bathrooms being flooded with water (whenever someone took a shower the water couldn't flow out so it came out of our drainage). The water also reached the room and almost my stuff, had I not woken up from it. The staff appeared to be conscious of the problem, because they didn't react as if it was something new. I don't know what it takes to fix that but you definitely should.

朱朱古力叮噹Hygiene generally enter the room to clean once, occasionally there will be small insects, the refrigerator is very large to put ice cream, but the TV reception is general, occasionally there will be snowflakes, the terrace environment is clean when you wake up can look at the sea very comfortable
GGuest UserIt was okay. It’s a little hassle because the check in is at the 12th floor and they assigned me the room on the 17th floor. Elevator was only til 16th floor so I had to climb one more floor with all my luggage. But overall it was fine. The guy at the check in gave me a bigger room in exchange for a $20 tip lol he was very approachable, by the way.

RRyant RhmdThe picture shown was not the same, but check in was smooth and we liked the size of the room than the one we booked at chungking mansion previously. Good to have a rest after long day exploring Hongkong. We stayed for three days, towel provided just hot water didn't always work in the morning.
